INTELLIGENCE

Intelligence is simplifying the potential we are born with and have the capacity which is difficult to change but can be measured. Different theories have been developed on how one can test his intelligence. Among the theories are the three forms of intelligence, which was the first theory to take a more cognitive approach and to go against the approach on psychometric. Another theory of intelligence is the gardener’s theory, which defines intelligence as talents, personality traits, and abilities. This theory, however, suffers from empirical research.

Intelligence testing is useful for people who need to understand more on their way of reasoning.   I do believe that the mode of testing might not be accurate, but there are some elements of truthiness. From Matthew Swayne’s article on the ways to improve our memories, the following are some of the proven things we can do to increase our intelligence.

A perfect way of increasing intelligence is simplifying the mind. Generally, intelligence is termed as the ability to acquire knowledge, then applying it in real-life situations. By trying to rethinking our thoughts and then processing the information piece at a given time, we will automatically find ourselves been more product in our thinking, and we shall also improve our mental capacity. This is among the best thing to do since one has to apply the knowledge acquired in real-life situations ( Brynjolfsson et. Al., 2017)..

Doing exercise regularly will too help in improving our intelligence since though not as expected by most people. By doing exercises, one ensures that the blood flows freely to the brain. Exercise also enables both body and mental fitness to a human being.  Moreover, exercise is also believed to be a good way of improving intelligence since it is also a good way of relaxing as well be a good way for our brains.

Drawing conclusions also helps in improving one’s intelligence. Taking, for instance, a situation where you are concluding the outcomes of a certain experiment, it makes one critically think whether the method used to collect data may lead to the same outcome in a different experiment. When concluding, as one tries to answer the original question, some more questions arise during data interpretation thus increasing one’s intelligence

By downloading and using different apps to train our memory helps us to improve our intelligence. Different apps like the puzzle one help in widening our minds and also help in training our minds. These puzzles help in improving our memory ( Marrin, S. 2017).

By practicing the ways mentioned above, we shall be able to improve our intelligence since our intelligence cannot be improved by relaxing our minds but can only be done by practicing some normal things. After improving our intelligence, there are, however, different ways we can measure intelligence. The best way of measuring intelligence is by designing a test testing the ability problems of different types that intelligence lies within the given parts of definitions. However, one needs to be compatible with the machine or person to be tested ( Jiang et al., 2017).

To conclude, intelligence varies from one person to another, and there are several ways of improving our intelligence. Intelligence can also be measured by designing a test. The use of the IQ test in measuring intelligence is, however, not the best option since it only measures the exact measure.
