1. Introduction
   1. Purpose of the paper- The purpose of this paper is to explore the principles of transformational leadership and its application in the nursing practice.
   2. Explanation of concept analysis
      1. Definition- Explores the meaning of concepts to promote understanding (McEwen & Wills, 2014, p. 55).
   3. Why this concept was chosen:
2. Transformational leaders can articulate their visions to enhance the motivation and morale of other to help connect to a joint mission and the collective identity of an organization.
3. They also challenge those around them to take greater ownership of their work and optimize their performance. (Huber, 2014)

• I, therefore, chose this concept to help me apply positive leadership and management styles to my future career roles as a nurse leader by the shreds of evidence gathered in this research.
