Why would you like to enroll in the Foundation Programme?
What are you hoping to learn in the follow up bachelor’s programme? Why would you like to study in Maastricht? I need to write a 500 word essay for my application, answering all 3 questions. I′ve made some drafts but I need to structure them nicely.
I like to believe that enrolling in a foundation programme is like starting any type of new relationship. Before committing to a particular individual, we have to get to know them on a closer, more personal level. Similarly, before deciding on which university I would like to dedicate the upcoming years, I would like to take a year to become familiar with college life. And taking the Foundation Year at the Maastricht University will certainly make my educational background stronger as well as give access to well-established law degree programs. something that I look forward to is to experience what its like to be a lawyer. Other than the theory, Maastricht provides with different types of projects. Meeting with professionals, and attending competitions have always been my primary interest. It is also a great opportunity to build connections. I have always enjoyed collaborating with others and thinking interdependently. Throughout my time in high school, I′ve strived to standout with my leadership skills and different talents in my community. Throughout the experience, I′ve met a lot of great leaders, whom I′ve analyzed and tried my best to exceed them. Thus, I′m looking forward to put myself in a challenging position as a college student and gradually climb up the leadership pyramid. I prefer to see this as another challenge in my life from which I have to come out as one of the top contestants. Netherlands is known as the legal center of Europe; thus, it also has a rich history that I am looking forward to learn about. Why Maastricht? it′s not big of a city
