Nature and Its Impacts on My Life
The most significant events that influenced me and still motivates me up to date is how nature/environment has a substantial impact on my life. This discovery changed my life significantly since it affected the way I view nature in general, the importance of it in human beings, and the things I practice to protect it. Moreover, this event has been vital to me since I discovered it in my teens, which is very difficult for many people. Nature intensifies or decreases our stress, which, in sequence, affects our bodies’ functions.
My love for nature began four years back when I was in my 12th grade. I was 15 years old at the time, and conserving the environment was the best thing I loved doing since then. I have volunteered in planting trees because trees are the most significant source of oxygen; we breathe. Moreover, Trees assists in reducing the level of the ozone layer in the environment, reduce noise pollution, and provides different fruits that have several health benefits. Also, I volunteered to educate children on the importance of taking care of the environment by ensuring that they do not throw litter on the streets, parks, or in any natural areas. Further, I educated them on the importance of protecting all living creatures. This education assisted them in connecting in a better way, and it was a better way of educating them on the best ways to take care of the environment.
Upon discovering the importance of nature, still, I wanted to explore and know more about it. Further, I wanted to know how I can connect with nature. After conducting numerous researches, I discovered that individuals who had planted trees near their infrastructures were familiar with more individuals, had a better feeling of uniting with neighbors, and had a strong sense of belonging than individuals who had not planted trees. In addition to this boundless intelligence, there was a lower level of crimes, a minor degree of war and aggression among partners associates, and a better way to handle life demand, particularly the pressures of living in poverty. On the issue of how I could connect with nature, I discovered that when observing nature scenes, the parts of the brain linked with responsiveness and love activates. Still, when an individual sees urban places, the parts of the brain connected with anxiety and unease activates. At this point, I was able to conclude that nature motivates the emotional state that links us to the environment.
Conclusively, nature has had a high impact on me because it affected my way of thinking. Importantly, I have learned a lot of things by observing the environment/nature around me. Additionally, I realized that it is essential to protect the surroundings so that they can be present for the coming future generation. Nature/environment has affected my life in different ways. Still, I think It has made me a better individual by enabling me to choose better decisions and actions which may help in conserving and protecting its components. Also, for me, I am part of nature, and nature is part of me since we are interrelated. Therefore, I will still care about and conserve the environment for many years to come. Lastly, the existence of human beings is possible because of nature and nature not only give life but provide a sense to differentiate between good and unacceptable deeds.
