Most important skills learned

Throughout this course, I have learned several skills. The improvements I have identified after assessing what skills I did possess before joining the program and the ones I have now. The most important ones include advanced writing skills, refining research topics, and advancing professionalism in research (American Psychological Association, n. d.). Notably, the skills were developed through the feedbacks shared by my colleagues. They helped evaluate myself and the areas I need to work on. Following the knowledge and skills I have gained, my perception of my professional aspiration has changed. I now believe that it is possible to do my research and complete it within the required timeframe.

Challenges I foresee

Despite the identified achievement, the most significant challenges that I expect include identifying credible membership groups to register with, getting volunteering opportunities, and financing my professional registrations. I also feel I will experience a challenge in accessing reference materials online. The problems can be dealt with by enhancing collaboration with my colleagues (American Psychological Association, n. d.). They can give more insight into how to deal with registration and getting volunteering opportunities. Also, my instructor and mentors will play a vital role. Concerning accessing reference materials, we can contribute as colleagues and have single logins.

The vision of the impact I will create

My vision is to impact my field through research. I hope to contribute positively to the field by researching and presenting new and innovative ideas. That is significant in changing the perception the public has about my specialization. On the side of the community, I wish to promote professionalism. I desire to have the community have trust in us (American Psychological Association, n. d.). They will be motivated to seek more of our services.
