HELP STUDENTSHIP-LOAN PROGRAM

GENERAL INTRODUCTION

Help Studentship or Loan Program is an incentive provided by Marape Steven Government for tertiary student’s assistance scheme. It is a new type of scheme that has been implemented not to replace neither DHERSET-AES nor HECAS; instead it is implemented to help those unfortunate students whom their parents cannot afford to meet their fees. Those students who are selected under DHERSET scheme will still be on dherset sponsorship; however if in need of additional money or full amount to pay-up their fees can still apply for the Loan. The loan program is “interest free” and has unlimited duration of repayment.
