Fox News in violation of customers protection
Early this year a nonprofit organization in Washington State sued the Fox News with allegations that TV station has violated customers’ protection law. According to the complainant file presented in court, Fox News was accused of misrepresenting and offering false information to the public on the epidemic.
Based on the first amendment law of public protection, Fox News is held responsible for presenting information that puts the public at risk of spreading g the covid-19. However, fox news media general counsel argues that the company is under the protection of free speech principles, thus purports to fight for a lawsuit to challenge the allegations.
