I believe that the government should be more involved in how products impact the family unit’s ability to access and buy medications. This is because not everyone in the country is in the same financial status as the other; hence the government should negotiate or regulate drug prices for new prescriptions when it comes to the market. It should eager other republics that task government organizations to meet with the pharmacological agencies and negotiate over a suitable value. Many pharmaceutical companies take advantage of the overpricing medication of rare illnesses that are tested by the FDA (medication price gouging). But with the intervention and regulation of price by the government, it can then favor every individual. Also, medicine and drug need to be regulated for the safety and health of the public. The future of a country lies with the good health of his people.
Vaping negatively affects family units since nicotine as a harmful drug when induced in the body; it harms body organs and has a detrimental psychological effect. It is extremely addictive, causing poor brain development in teens and kids, affecting their concentration, memory, self-control, attention, mood, and memory. The addiction by adults can cause a lot of diseases such as lung and heart disease or even death. Families will break, either through a divorce, poor financial status, or death. The government should critically handle issues like vaping. With the assistance of the FDA, they are required to ban the sale to minors. The government is required to educate people on the harmful effects of Vaping, regulate the purchase of the product, ban the product to irresponsible users, and offer rehabilitation for the addicts. More effectively, the government is obligated to take necessary action for those that do not adhere to the set rule.
