A properly structured organization has the power to formulate efficient and sound decisions. A proper structure enables the organization as a collective unit to adapt much more accessible to any change incurred in the world of business. However, confusing structure or one that develops bottlenecks in any decision-making process can turn out to be counter-productive and generate adverse effects on company revenue.
However, specific recommendations can be put in place to improve the company structure. For instance, in the provided article, the company requires particular recommendations that will enhance its structure and speed up their website development (Bai, Wenxiao, et al. 74). Three of the essential recommendations include; clarity of the structure, development of a cross-functional based team, and put checks into place.

Proper communication of information is essential when improving company structure. Staff members should have access to crucial data. As hired by the company, I will ensure adequate development and distribution of department hierarchy flow charts to each member and make clarity on the responsibilities of managers. Whenever a company develops a decision-making process, I will make sure the whole organization understands the process. I will advocate for flow chart training if need be. Communication is a powerful tool that every organization needs to embrace. Discussion based on information and company structure assists in minimizing confusion and effectively streamlines the process of structure improvement. However, in some scenarios, a select tasked group can be developed to handle particular issues. Assistance concerning a specific problem can be obtained from any department in the company. Another option I would opt for involves the investment in a workflow related software that enhances the handling of documents. Good software will assist in the establishment of a proper path, followed by a record for effectiveness. The software can send warnings if break downs are experienced. By employing this strategy, speeding up of website development is achieved.

The function take turns to work on new projects effectively; thus, too much time is wasted before getting to the final phase. As the manager, I would develop a proper cross-functional group that is more effective and destined to improve the organization’s functional structure. The hierarchy of any organization is defined through organizational structures, and they determine how information is conveyed within the organization. During the process of structure establishment, business shareholders should effectively determine how the formulated structure aligns with company goals and principles. The structured option should also set tasks for staff members. Any composition formulated should be the stable anchor where everything rests in the business anatomy. However, initial structure establishments don’t conclude discussions surrounding them in the business industry. Every organization structure comes along with challenges and benefits that require the attention of every management. Some problems in an organization are brought up as a result of old structures that need tweaking.
However, the best organizational structure that would adopt my recommendations is the Product-based Team Structure. The Product-based Team Structure, unlike matrix, has no records of dual reporting. The absence of these records is due to conflict demands noted from the functional boss and product boss. Also, having a cross-functional team eradicates any boundaries artificially existing between organization departments. Product Team Structure is important since products are surrounded by professionals who possess the capability to enhance product rollout (Lu, Shasha, et al. 76). The proposed structure is essential since it minimizes conflicts with other organization projects. The set team remains alert and focused ion product rollout as employees get empowered and more involved.
