  1. The so-called war on drugs will have been and will continue to be an immense failure. The war on drugs is a widening enterprise that has deepened its roots in the politics and social norms of the United States society.

Billions of taxpayers’ money are used in America trying to prevent the flooding of substances demanded by many Americans, and yet illegal drugs are available at all times. The wars on drugs have cost society much more than the drug abuse itself. Over sixteen Billion dollars were spent by the federal government to fight drugs in the year 1998.out of this money, ten billion dollars was used to pay for measures that can be used to curb the supply of drugs.

This war on drugs shows the worst example of how the government of the United States is close-minded and immature.it clearly lacks bravery, foresight, and sophistication.

  1. The film shows that war on drugs is one of the most protracted and most expensive battles in the history of America. Kevin booth, in his movie, stands out to prove that the war on drugs has failed. The film portrays the hypocrisy of American failed policies. Cocaine and marijuana are prohibited while tobacco and alcohol are entirely legalized, yet the two substances cause more damage and ruin than any other drugs.
  2. The legalization of drugs is the only practical solution to drug wars. Legalizing will release billions of dollars that are spent by the government in courts, police, and rehabilitation to fight against drugs, and it would also minimize taxes imposed on citizens. The money saved can be utilized on drug treatment, education, and enforcement, which are pointed at other severe crimes.
  3. In the future, all drugs are going to be legalized. This is because legalized substances (cigarettes, alcohol) are more damaging than the ones prohibited. Drugs should all be treated in the manner as these other kinds of stuff. The prohibition of drugs has not eradicated or even minimized the use of drugs.
