Descriptive research was carried out. The study was conducted among 148 employees. The results showed that employees low in honesty-humility were affected by situational circumstances while those high in honesty-humility showed lower counterproductive work behavior.

Participants were employees of the company, and they were sampled out. Out of the total employees, only 148 employees were chosen to participate in the research, and they were not paid.

The hypothesis was to find the relationship between honesty –humility and a person’s work performance. The author wanted to prove that the performance of employees at work correlates with the quality humility and honesty they posses.

The results showed that employees low in honesty-humility found it challenging to work while these with high honesty – humility had low difficulties compared to the prior group. The results mean that employees’ honesty and humility level impacts their work performance.

The honesty-humility measure should not be used to determine a person’s performance at work. According to organization psychology, an employee’s work performance is determined by the organization’s motivation.  In the future, this research should focus on separating personality and ethical employee surveillance.
