The author of the book is Marla Heller. In this essay, I will be conversing on the reason why I picked this book. My focus will be on two favourite topics; the Full Mediterranean Dash eating plan, and the Surprising Benefits of The Mediterranean Dash plan. I will also dwell on information from other sources that corroborate with this book and at the of this book review, I will confer how this information touches my daily life.

Hypertension is real; I witnessed it on my grandmother. She was also diagnosed with diabetes type 2. When I remember all the pain and suffering my grandmother had to endure, it hurts me. It baffles me the more when I see how careless my brother is when it comes to his diet. I have been so concerned about my brother’s diet. He eats every kind of food and anytime he wants to eat, even when the food is not healthy. Currently, my brother has a 140mmHg systolic blood pressure, and the worst part is that he does not want to seek medical advice from the doctor. It helps you manage your weight and also improve daily health life. This book does not focus on the “don’ts” such as “do not eat” principles (Heller, M, 2018), but rather it puts more attention on the everyday diet plan that includes recipes of a delicious meal.
