A Breathing Earth

Discussion

The figure that I selected was figure 7.18- A Breathing Earth and figured 7.13- OECD Better Life Index. I selected them due to the ability to learn new things in life that may enhance the expansion of the physical limits, increase the quantity and facilitate how to obtain the information. I choose figure 7.18 due to interaction contacts like clicking dragging and drop, creating a desire to explore and learn more from the feature of the breathing earth and understanding life, while on the other hand, OECD better Life index allows the comparison of the life index thus creating a picture on the life expectancy and enable predictions. Yes, the design of each is considered to be useful based on my objective to interact. I was able to obtain new information from the figure, making it essential.

The requirements of accessibility have been achieved by ensuring that the websites are accessible irrespective of the device used and the data is well managed. Also through the marinating of the network connections to ensure a continuous flow like in the case of breathing earth,  providing text alternatives for the mages and the contrast applied to ensure all the information is readable in the design web has improved the accessibility (Shinohara et al., pg20). The concern on the figures I selected was to obtain the information managed at targeted with the aim of making discoveries creating an interaction in the process. The main target for the two figures that I selected was people in the society at large, targeting to enlighten them about the world and life through the life index across the globe. I will suggest that the navigation site should be made simpler and prominent. Make the buttons stand where the actions take place, such as clicking or dragging and finally avoid more information on the same page will make it more attractive and accessible.
