A “Welcome Letter” for the First Grade Classroom
Welcome to Mrs Biden’s First Grade Class
As we see off the holiday and usher in a new academic year, I welcome you to a sea of opportunities; a place you will enjoy new friends and try out exciting adventures. You have achieved a significant milestone for transiting to the first-grade class, and you will be required to report to room A-1 of the school on the scheduled date. According to the planned activities, your stay in room A-1 would have a lot of fun and yet so busy. You will learn and study various subjects and work with others to exercise your body and mind.
Due to hot weather, any child who wishes to carry bottled water to the room would be allowed to do so. However, you should note that the school does not allow children to attend their sessions with either juice or other beverages. As parents, you are equally advised to check your child’s backpack each day for any communication from the school. Previously, parents have complained of the many notices that are often sent to them, while failing to understand that such communications keep them updated with their child’s progress.
Every child will be given a homework assignment on Friday, and they are expected to hand them in on Thursday of the following week. The school has various education materials that will aid in the learning process of the child. However, any parent who has the potential to supply additional stationery voluntarily would be appreciated for such efforts. Due to diversity, you are required to feel the following questionnaire that would help us devise a specific learning plan for every child.
- List two things that your child should not do.
- ________
- ________
- How would you want your child to spend their holiday? _________.
- Does your child have a medical condition that we need to know about?
- Yes
- No
- Is your child allergic to any food or environmental conditions?
- Yes
- No
- If yes, what are the conditions or foods they are allergic to?
- _______
- _______
I believe that the year would be exciting and enjoyable for every child. We kindly request for cooperation and support whenever it is required.
Sincerely,
