Academic interest in Political Science
Political science is a course that has been attached to my lifestyle. My engagement in democracy talks, public policy, citizenship, analysis of policies on migration, and justice in the political arena has evoked interests in studying political analysis. This area of political science is greatly affected and influences many aspects of social life. Many engagements in political party’s activities have created some interests in understanding the theoretical frameworks of the party formation and management. I believe the Brown University’s Open Curriculum will grant me the chance to get the right information concerning the area of interest.
The university has the capacity for the new academic resources that are both electronic and print media. The services will enhance my research concerning the political science theories that have been recently published. Additionally, I believe the university has experienced tutors and facilitators who will lead my journey in the study of political science by granting me the chance to participate in internal forums.
The partnerships of the university with other global institutions will enhance my connectivity to the different parts of the world, thus aiding my ambition to learn about the area in other countries. International links will promote my understanding of the political analysis in both developed and developing countries.
Conversely, the facilities in the university shall give me the chance to interact with other students from other countries to share diverse cultural backgrounds. The open curriculum will aid in selecting the topics and units that interest me the most. This will enhance my professionalism in the area by giving me a more profound understanding of concepts. I will be committed to doing my assignments and attending the lecturers. I shall link up with the relevant professionals in the facility to ensure I benefit.
