Being an agent of moral change involves the integration of better principles in shaping the lives of individuals within the society. There have been major challenges in the society that have gone unnoticed to the majority of individuals, although agents of change have focused on highlighting these issues, which provide a major emphasis on better strategies that help come up with counter strategies that focus on streamlining the global level development. It is essential to focus on implementing a more substantial moral authority within the society through the focus on the crucial role of moral agents. Different individuals have played major roles in streamlining societal development based on their statements and efforts to help overcome a specific strain within society. Therefore this paper will provide a focus on Cesar Chavez, who was an American civil rights activist in the United States.

Cesar Chavez

Cesar Chavez was a Latino civil rights activist who sought to bring change in a non-violent manner. He was an American labor leader, community organizer as well as civil rights activities. As an individual from the minority group in the United States, he felt that there was a need to speak up against the moral injustices that his people were facing.  He founded the National Farm Workers Association (NFWA), which was one of the major workers union that sought to protect the needs of minority workers in the United States. He combined his political ideology with leftist politics as well as the Roman Catholic social teachings.

Chavez was a very religious individual who integrated Christian values in his life. Therefore having a strong belief in supreme being limits self-doubt since there is the belief in supreme being through faith. The only consideration that is made in this case regarding the traumatic experience faced by clients is to believe and help them to recover from their difficult situation through faith and belief. Overcoming difficult situation is only through the dedication and having faith in change. How we think and associate with each other is based on different approaches, which can be described, based on fundamental principles, which highlight important factors that define positive development. How we embrace life depends on how we are taught about spirituality.

Respect is another significant value that defined Chavez’s personality since childhood. The overall commitment to change and protection of the rights of minority workers were developed by a strong focus on building a strong relationship that was based on respect and understanding the needs of each other as well as better processes that shape personal development. Building a strong change platform based on his interaction played an improved role in defining change and personal development. The ability to interact with everyone in society was defined based on his social demeanor and respecting everyone within the social context.

Chavez embraced positivity and sought to share this positive feeling with others through an organized manner and development of workers’ unions. How did the values help him?

These values identified were instrumental in helping him overcome adversities as a child as well as in his ques in civil rights and protection of the needs of minority workers who were subjected to discrimination. Out of respect to his fellow Latino and the need to ensure that the law is upheld played a major role in his decisions to continue fighting for the rights of the minority and the formation of the workers union. He knew that the best possible way to bring change within the society was through advocating for change, including the voting rights of workers.

Chavez exuded positivity and confidence, which played a major role in influencing his ideologies and the level of understanding of better processes that sought to help in improving the level o commitment to change and an overall emphasis on the improved level of development among the Latino. Positivity and responsibility are crucial in helping maintain a unique understanding of better changes that help organize a greater emphasis on critical processes that need to be modified and implement successfully. Understanding employee strengths will be based on a higher level of focus on better processes that have a strong understanding of significant changes that help improve the change process. Lessons to learn
