For a long time, courts have adopted jailing criminals as a way of punishment. It occurs because alternative sentences have not been used. It is a method that upholds positivity in the society. It involves one being punished in any other form other than jailing or death sentence. Many people in jails are in deep regrets. They have the desire for freedom but it is not there. Want to prove they have changed is not among their options. Having the rise of this many criminal offences, many people are being hooked up in jails. The perception of society to believe that all those in prison are immoral is wrong.Reformation of their lives is in them  and desire to better their lives.Most of the people in jails are the youth who have the potential to do great in life. Due to some few errors that they made in life this people suffer terribly.If by chance, they are allowed to prove their change they can do so.This paper will discuss on alternative sentencing.

Sentencing of an individual matter with the act done. When a court decides to punish a criminal it follows certain factors. Punishment is one of the elements.Understanding that one is held accountable for his or her own actions,punishment is allowed. Therefore a culprit is taken charge of his or her activities.It is good to realize that if the court can punish the defendant it is right but the impact of the varies. A culprit may be jailed and face the wrath of his did, but after the punishment it is good to have a second chance given.If recidivism cannot happen after the sentence, the defendant is free from the crime.Therefore alternative sentences can be embraced on this condtions.

Overcrowding in jails is a menace. Many individuals are wasting their life in prison and they aren’t supposed to. Some were in the influence of drugs when they committed some crimes.By this one, an individual can reform if given a chance. Some people in jails are better suited in other areas since they are very visionary.overcrodwing also causes immoral behaviour because of the idleness the people have. Some great minds are not able to improve the world  due to the situation at hand. Overcrowding also causes the resourses to be minimal. Therefore,even if many people are in jails because of their wrongs consideration of ones act should be considered.

Rehabilitation is one of the attributes of alternative sentences. Most of the people in the jails and who have tough corporal punishments only need to be rehabilitated in the condition of no recidism after being rehabilitated. They have great minds that can bring hope to the present society.Take, for instance, a hacker has done some crime such as cybercrime,and he or she adds up in jail, it will be imperfect to hold the guy in jail. Thus the guy will suffer in prison yet has great skills. The skills that person are quite important to the world at large. The only just way is to rehabilitate the person to use the knowledge to help humanity rather than destroy it.In conclusion it is to the fair to restore the culprit and help him, or she improve society.

Accidents that happen ought not to be judged for jail terms or corporal punishment. It often occurs that some people become defendants in court due to some accidents.It occurs when you are in a situation which you did not intend. A person for instance may commit murder, yet  no intentions of death were in him or her.Such a person will suffer a lot in jail, yet it was not an intention.Therefore an understandable way of punishment if need be should be given to the culprit

Doing some unpaid work is one method of alternative sentencing. Most individuals while in jail get some kind of laziness.In their work thus even after they are free from their jail terms, they are not able to adapt to the situation. Therefore it is suitable for those culprits to do some unpaid work in the society. This will also reduce poverty since most people after jail terms; they are stranded. Thus it is good to embrace alternative sentencing to individuals

Addictions are a significant cause of people in jails and face punishments.Specific orders may be given to those in prison because of the various habits they are in.In such a situation if someone is an addict of alcohol or bhang ,the person should have serious rules forbidding the person from clubs.By doing this the person is helped to recover and this will also help the person to embrace change.In terms of the advancement of technology injections may be given to the people who have the various addictions. By doing this it tends to improve the body system of the individual .If the person remained in jail there is a high probability for the person to get back to the old habits.Therefore it is important to focus on the reform of the culprit  not just focusingon the punishment.

Man is a social being and when some privileges are withheld punishment is well given.Electron tags may be used to shun criminals in the society.Electron tags on one’s chest is a good deal.The culprit will be ashamed when carrying an electron tag on the chest.An alarm is raised to the citizens of the personality of the culprit.By so doing the social part of the man is suppressed and thus the character changes occur to the person.Moreover, apologies may be done to the people in conflict and thus improving the society.Therefore it is crucial to have a punishment that benefits both parties with conflict.

Many losses occur when people go to court to accuse each other of the evils they have done to each other.If someone is engaged in stealing items from another person compensation is better. Therefore when losses occur between two parties,compensation becomes a good method to solve the issue at hand.When this occurs it causes a better co-exsistance between peopleTherfore it is  very important to embrace .Therfore one is able to be at peace.

All in all after comparison of the various impacts between punishments and alternative sentencing , thus when embraced it has better results since the motive being that changes of the immoral is seen.Punishments to culprits though having their own advantages it is better for alternative sentencing,There is economic gain to the society and the government .Less resources are used by the government since it reduces crime.Moreover many people are able to improve their charaters.Therefore the society and courts may embrace alternating sentencing.The society gains from the people and a better coexistence.In conclusion alternative sentencing has proven to be a better way to solve crimes in courts
