For employees to buy-in this strategy, I would ensure supervisors and the superior board provide consistent feedback to the workers. It is because, according to the Amazon and e-commerce report, 72% of the workers surveyed felt that they would increase their efficiency in performance with the help of more feedback (Plant, 2000). Therefore I would create a policy strictly to be followed by the managers to provide the required feedback to the employees at any time. Also, to help employees understand their role in the company’s operation, I can introduce graphics to illustrate the overall strategy of the organization and how tasks are moving towards the organization, the same process applied by Amazon. To ensure everyone in the firm is recognized, it would be significant to set a day for awarding employees, and this helps to show gratitude and help them know that management pays close attention to both individuals and their own goals.
How you will ensure that key stakeholders support the changes.
The first is to create a new comprehensive contact strategy. It will ensure coordination through various channels and strategies so that the broadest group of stakeholders may participate. Next is to build a relaxed climate for a change initiative; this will help stakeholders understand the clear intention of the company’s vision. Also, I would ensure various stakeholders participate during the life cycle of the change initiative. It will promote stakeholders’ trust towards the company hence prompt them to support the changes. The other thing is to utilize the support team of stakeholders since it an excellent way to ensure a large number of stakeholders are engaged in the change process. Last is to identify leaders and resisters to the drive for change progress. It will help in identifying the stakeholders who do not support the change and assist in formulating methods on how to approach them from a different angle (Tanner, 2007).
