Andrew Jackson was a great American president and a great American as well. Andrew Jackson was a committed citizen, where he aimed at remaining as a man of the people. Andrew established a new political party which aimed at following the will of the people.  The will of representing the people’s will and fighting for their rights indicated how he was a great president for the people. According to Jackson, many career politicians were walking the streets of Washington. They ended up losing their touch with the public. Andrew believed in the rotation of offices, which made him a great president, for he knew the change of government would change a lot for the citizens. He was against the clearance of the old officeholders and replacing with any appointees chosen by the leading candidates. Such a movement mad the spoils systems to be considerably corrupt since the replacement led to the continuity of bad governance. To Andrew Jackson, the rotation of the office would highly ensure there is democracy in the nation. He was the best president since, while he got his share of political opponents, the transformed the office of the president into being a dynamic leadership and an initiative that was highly directed with meeting the citizen’s needs and ensuring they were well represented in the government. He was and still regarded as one of the best presidents since he adopted a new appeal of suggesting that people had a play part to support the government in addition to him serving as a model for the great president to this day.

He is credited as the best president because of his accomplishments while he was at the presidential seat. He led to splitting if the democratic Republican Party in two. He always made a move in the political realms with the citizens in heart since he was there to service the nation to the best of his abilities. To prove that he was the best president for America, he led to the establishment of a new party that aimed at serving the nation. On the other hand, Andrew Jackson was a great American. He always strived to live in the values of integrity, self-control while holding on to authority law. Hence it is right to claim that Andrew Johnson, even before becoming the president of America he was a great American. He was a great republican who acknowledged any political authority that would rule America should be the choice of the people. Being a good American, he advocated that the government of American should always be chosen by the citizens, which ensures that their will is acted upon by the government.

In conclusion, Andrew Johnson was both a great American and a great president of America. This statement is validated because he led to the establishment of a new party that had the best interest for the people. He also followed the veto power, which led to him being named as the people’s president. Further, he was a good citizen, where he obeyed the American laws, exercise authenticity, integrity, and human treatment of other citizens.
