By defining the theoretical and conceptual framework of organizational communication, this article outlines the role of organizational communication in achieving common goals. The study in the article adds value to the research topic.
Keyton focuses this article on the study of organizational communication as a subarea of communication as recognized by the International Communication Association (ICA). The author says that before understanding organizational communication, it is essential to learn about communication first. Keyton also describes organizational communication from a philosophical perspective. By describing the practical implications of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behaviour (OPOB), the author can obtain promising areas of the study. The article is an important source of data for our research.

It is predominantly based on Swedish research on organizational communication, supported by holistic and other case studies. Johansson, a renowned author and researcher of organizational communication, claims that societies and organizations are constructed continuously by their members through a well-defined communicative process. The author also points out the strengths and weaknesses of the research but from an international perspective. By discussing the contributions made by Swedish research in organizational communication, this article is a source of enough data for my paper.
In this article, Blazenaite suggests a comprehensive functional system model that serves as a tool for supporting effective communication in an organization. Such communication is aimed at reaching the integrated goals of both individuals and the organization. In the article, the author opens with a discussion of the conditions for effective organizational communication. Blazenaite says that the internal communication sub-system of any organization is determined by the effectiveness of criteria and the features of the available communication system. The results indicate that systemic analysis of communication approaches are useful in every organization. The article is thus helpful since it contains ideas that are up-to-date and conventional for my research.
Proctor has pointed out son how effective organizational communication brings an effect on individual happiness, attitude, and job satisfaction. The author suggests that organizations should learn that designing effective communication strategies at all levels of management improves employee relations and contributes to organizational success. The article also contributes to the literature of my research by demonstrating the effectiveness of bi-directional communication between employees, supervisors, and management to create an attitude of happiness. However, Proctor has failed to study communication about the happiness and attitude of employees. What I have liked about this article is that it links workers’ satisfaction with effective organizational communication.
