Army aviation
Introduction
This is an administrative army branch that is responsible for doctrine manning and the configuration for all aviation units in the army. This unit came about after the United States army split into two. This left the army with only two flying units, which led them to come up with a new concept of aviation. They used a helicopter for this new concept. This was used during the Korean War and later on during the Vietnam War.
Army aviation came about during the American civil war, where both teams that are the union and the confederate forces would use hydrogen-filled balloons to control the artillery fire. The balloons became a norm for the American forces. They were used during the Spanish American war. This was later replaced by airplanes.in 1907, the signal corps aeronautical division built their first airplane. When the First World War came about, the army had grown from just a few pieces of airplanes to thousands of them. This also saw to it that there was an increase in the number of aviation personnel. There was an integration of the signal corps to create an independent air force unit. The congress rejected this offer even though it pushed through, and the air force became a unit on its own. It was initially known as the combat arm and later on changed to army air corps. This then formed the army air force, also equal to the army service forces. After a long back and forth, they decided to try using the power of air to do away with their enemies. The army aviation branch was finally brought into the limelight in April 1983 after the army recommended that they were now ready to act as an independent army aviation branch. This led to a modernization plan that was to ensure that everything was in place as the older versions of helicopters were replaced with new ones.
The army aviation branch is supposed to help in the search for the enemy, destroy the enemy. This is done through maneuver and fire. They use coordinated combined arms teams that act as combat service support for them. They have the flexibility and resources to do what is required of them. They have been taught to maneuver as well as perform another couple of functions in this unit. They are given the mandate of a series of combined arms functions. The training, capabilities, and resources available to them ensure that this branch can work out on its own and perform the various tasks assigned to them (Whittenberg, 2018). They have been divided into small groups, which makes them even more flexible. These units have been divided into various divisions. During the war, they offer air support to those on the ground. They are capable of doing this with ease because of the vast space that they have to maneuver around and cheat the enemy. The officers in the aviation army branch do not only enjoy the benefits of completing aviation training, but they also have the benefits of taking various leadership roles in the aviation units.

Being in the army can be quite challenging, but doing it as a passion will help one achieve the set tasks. It can, at times, be challenging, but with effort and hard work, the nation is safe.
