ARTIFICIAL INTELIGENCE
INTRODUTION
This is the simulation of the human intelligence that follows the process by computers especially from the computer systems. Artificial Intelligence has some specific applications which include natural language processing (NLP), expert systems, machine vision and speech recognition.
BACKGROUND
The Artificial Intelligence modern roots are traced back in around classical Greece philosophers and their labor to model thinking of the human as a system symbol. Around 1940s, through the thought a school called “Connectionism” developed to study thinking process. Happening in 1950, a man Alan Turing wrote a broadsheet suggesting how a “thinking” machine could be tested. Alan believed that uncertainty a machine might carry on conversations by means of teleprinter, imitating humans without noticeable difference, thinking could be the best definition of the machine in accordance with Alan Tuing.
BENEFITS OF AN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
AI holds a lot of benefits and great promises which include: Don't use plagiarised sources.Get your custom essay just from $11/page
For the Industries, Economy and business
Here some applications can be applied like pattern identification, Facial recognition and also digital content inquiry will be large. Tech companies, health science and academic research appreciate enhanced capabilities (Hamet 2017).
For Society and Humanity
AI will enhance Through data input and efficiency thus creating new and improvised opportunities, through AI it will assist in streaming of income generation , jobs and savings.
CHALLENGES OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
- Building of trust- Majors on the human psychology in which people often neglect thus leading to users not to grasp some concept.
- Has got high expectations- People often don’t understand on how the system works hence have higher expectations and some are not appropriate.
- Malfunctioning of the software- with algorithms and machines running the system it is hard to get to know where a malfunction is taking place.
- Cannot replace all tasks- AI also has its limitations which is it cant swap all tasks
- Expensive technology-the system needs a high investment to run it.
- Critical thinking- It reduces the thinking of the human brain thus making it lose some content due to the dependence of the AI.
CONCLUSION
AI and technology are grouped on life that they do surprise and interest people with great ideas, innovation, topics, products…etc. AI is not yet implemented, however, there are many steps to compete in the market.
