Usually, no one is smarter than the other. This means we all think at the same level; no one can claim to be smarter than the other. Our thinking capacity is always equal. There cannot be discrimination on how people think because no one thinks well than the other. When people are equal, nobody is stronger nor quicker than the other. We are all the same on how we react to things. No one reacts to a situation stronger than the other. Our capabilities to handle situations are always at the same equal. The way we adapt to changes, and the way we respond to those changes are the same. Also, when all are equal, no one is better looking than the other. Our well-being is always the same. Aside from advantages where people are equal in all aspects, there are situations also where we find some disadvantages of us being equal. When they are equal, there are difficulties in the invention as there is no individual who can come up with his or her own invention since the thinking capacity is always equal to all. If one thinks of coming with something different, then it is the same with everyone else, meaning the invention cannot be of an individual. Again when we all equal, then helping one another on matters that require special attention is always the same because no one can think of a better way than the other. In the workplace, if all are equal, then no one has more authority than the other, so one can decide to do anything even wrong because no one can control him or her. For better working and for people to relate in better ways, then they should not be equal.
Equality can be defined as the right of different groups of people to have a similar social position and receive the same treatment. The citizens of the United States were in the year 2081, not truly equal. It is evident that their rights were violated and were forced to do things that in them meant that they were oppressed by the government. An individual could not do things as per his or her way of thinking. Those who were perceived by the government to be to having intelligence way beyond the normal were forced to wear trans meter that would regulate the way they did things thus could not take advantage of their thinking capacity. As per today, the citizens of the United States are not equal. You find them in different areas of specialization where the like each individual or a group of individuals work on a different subject different from what another group is doing. There are people in authority who are meant to control what others are doing. The constitution has given some bodies more power than others; thus, the citizens are not equal.
Harrison’s rebellion never gained anything. He tried it but ended up losing his life after him, and his empress was shot to death. Harrison was able to break the basic laws of gravity after freeing himself from the handicraft because of the love and the support he had from his empress. He was able to have the trust of people, especially the musicians who felt that he was the right person they should follow so as to deliver themselves from what they perceived was oppression from the authority. George and Hazel are not affected by seeing the death of their son on television because, in a way, Hezel resembles the general Diana who shot their son. Meaning if it were on her same capacity, then she would have just done the same to the Emperor. The character traits that the general had were the same as those of Hezel. On the other side, George new that he was unable to do anything to it because he felt it was beyond his capacity. Even if he tried to get away with it, then other people will gate away with it, and soon they will be back again to the dark ages with everybody competing against everybody else. He knew the time people start cheating in law; then the whole society will be ruined. If Harrison was allowed to declare himself Emperor, the society would have been worst. He would have become a dictator where people could not get their rights to express themselves.
The society today imposes the following handicaps to people long checkout lines, price hikes, inflation, home for-closures, expensive airfare with extra fees, interest rates, and fees, waste of food and resources – which helps to inflict poverty, war, prejudiced, legalities that make money for everyone except to compensate the victim, medical insurance that refuses to assist those who really need it, and high heeled shoes. All talented people are encouraged to develop their talents for their benefit and that of others. They are offered the opportunities to showcase their capabilities where the government and other related bodies provide them with the required facilities. The author in the story tried to bring out the importance of human equity as provided in the law.
