Thus, effectively expressing yourself through your narrative is the key to impressing the admissions committee.

Begin with a strong hook.

For your reader to be engaged and continue reading, capturing their interest from the beginning is essential. The opening lines of your essay play a crucial role in making a strong first impression. You can achieve this by starting with an intriguing detail, a humorous anecdote, or a surprising event.
