BODY WEIGHT

Body image is a well-known term to most people, which plays a crucial role in the day-to-day lives of people around ted talks helps in encouraging men and women of all ages to love themselves. In watching the video about ted talks in mind connection, I realized that the speaker looked fantastic; she had self-care, self-love, and body positivity.

My physical and emotional thinking towards the speaker was to love her and be concerned with her speech since she drew back my attention towards mind-body connection using the body image.

When I saw the speaker, some initial thoughts of being determined in life and being ultimately self-love went through my head, and I was able to realize my potential towards a prosperous future (Kyrölä, 2016).

The speaker said that at her young age, she has learned that people are mean from her age, and it is important to be self-conscious and self-worth. The speaker remembered her earliest life for people making fun of her wear of glasses and her weight, but regardless of those memories, she has lived her life of trying to love herself the best she can, but she gets difficult on remembering her childhood.

I was shocked to realize that the speaker has never been alone in the struggle with body image and lack of confidence, and she has never been interested in the opinions of others regarding the bodies of others.

This made her inspire a love for herself and others than before using some of the ted talks, for example ending the pursuit of perfection, why thinking you are ugly is bad for you, and how to be confident and love your body at any size. I was also able to relate that people should not follow the opinions of others but love for themselves regarding their bodies.

The speaker says that if, for example, you are on the battling field, remind yourself of how many amazing things you have in your life, and she advises people to take a negative situation and turn it to a positive one, this has challenged my perception towards fat people.

At the end of the ted talk, the speaker advised me on how to take life easy regardless of how people are looking at you, whether small size or big size you are beautiful and worthy (Veldhuis et al., 2017).

The impression is those fat people should love their fabulous bodies unconditionally. My perception of obese people before was negative about their body image. Still, after the end of the talk, I started to turn the negativity to a positive influence of the body.

The comments about the video were positive due to the thinking of most people about fat people, which turned their alternative, and they started to look obese people differently and confidently since the speaker advises fat people to love their bodies at any size.

My view towards the comments of some people is that people should love themselves and be able to account for every action of life generally without fear of big, which makes the experience positive in all fields.

The second video tells us to place ourselves in a mirror and feel that you are beautiful and not ugly, as many people look in emotional life. The size of the body and privacy does not matter about a prosperous future but depends on how the teenagers will place themselves positively according to culture and the way of life.

The speaker tells parents to bring up children who are health regardless of body size because there are fundamental activities to attempt to look better enough you want, the low self-esteem makes teenagers to have bodyweight and therefore we need to create opportunity to do something and build self-esteem and work to reduce body size by addressing themes for example family, friends and relationships, teasing and bullying, talking about appearance and respecting and looking after yourself (Grogan & Mechan, 2017).

I have watched the two videos in order to obtain knowledge about how to take life easy when the body is fat, and the perception towards obese people should change from negative to positive by doing what entails you as a person not being interested in opinions of other people regarding their body, this helps people to have self-love and realize their potential towards achieving the goals of life.

From the project have learned the importance of self-care, self-love, and building self-esteem regardless of other people’s view work towards your future.

From the two videos about ted talk, it is clear that life is simple when someone can realize his or her personality and ideology in achieving goals of life. The body size calls for self-esteem and creates room for physical exercise leading to good health and self-love.

It’s also clear that people should have their morals and not using the opinions of others towards their bodies. Lastly, everybody should choose to be born and brought up beautiful and not thinking about body ugliness in mind connection of the body image (Franchina & Coco, 2018).
