Milk products are nutritious and healthy, thus, they are medically recommended as beverages than the other beverages that have high chemical content. We intend to come up with an industry in the New York State to make various milk products (Ruegg & Gamroth, 2013). We are planning to introduce a new Yoghurt brand by the name Yorgis in the New York State. Many Dairy farmers within the state will provide the required raw material milk. The company will provide two main products, which are Fresh milk and Yoghurt.
Description
According to the research conducted on 12 February 2017, many people prefer to consume milk products than the chemical made beverages. The company intends to take advantage of this situation by introducing more milk products to the market. We researched to determine whether people like the milk products in the market. 38% of the people that were consulted said that they did not like the milk products and they would be happy to embrace a new milk brand that would satisfy their needs. 22% percent said they did not like the packaging of the existing brands. We realized that 12% of the New York environs experienced a shortage of various milk products and would be happy if our brand was taken to them. The older adults would prefer milk products with little sugar content, and if possible, the milk should be white without any coloring (Gower & Locher, 2013). Most old adults believe the colors are a result of the chemical content added to the milk.
The Target market
Yorgis Company will be located in New York Industrial area from where the products will be transported to the markets. The target market is the New York City. Thus, the company should be near New York City for the ready market, and the remainders will be transported to the other major towns within the state. The company targets all ages by making various modification as required by different type of people. This is specifically achieved by coming up with a low sugar content brand that will suit mostly the old and the diabetic (Gnan & Elhririg, 2017). The company targets the big market in the New York City and the other major towns within the New York State. The company requires $1000000 to purchase the necessary machines to boil and grade the milk. The company requires a minimum of six tracks that will be used to collect milk from the farmers to the industry. The company also requires qualified personnel to ensure that it produces quality products that will be able to compete favorably with the other brands in the market.
The company overview
The company will have one managing director and the major stakeholder Mr. Charles Silk and two managers. One manager will be in charge of the production activities and will ensure that everything goes well at the production level. He will ensure that the production is good and the company produces quality products and all the requirements are met. The other manager will be in charge of the marketing and inflow of the raw milk to the industry. He will authorize payment of the farmers that supply the company with milk. He will ensure that the company’s products compete favorably in the market and will be in charge of advertising. The company will hire a site that was previously used by the Sour Milk Company and use a few resources that are readily available in the industry.
