Care ethics theory has been chosen to accomplish the present task.
Care ethics or ethics of care is a normative theory that establishes the moral responsibilities of individuals towards their society. It ensures the amount of care that an individual should provide to his or her family, friends, and colleagues. Care ethics theory is associated with empathy, relationships, and care which persons should provide to others when these are necessary. It depends on the mutual response and emotional interdependence between two people. The ethics of care is a rejection of principle-driven, impartial, and dispassionate reasoning that often dominate the paradigms of bioethics. The theory is based on three aspects. These are feminist writing, moral theories, and developmental psychology. It emphasizes the moral concern about responsibilities and needs in any relationship. Moral responsibility is guided by love, care, and friendship rather than any rights and principles as guided.
Care ethics also deals with vulnerability as it provides care to those who are vulnerable in society. Care ethics indicates the need for love, care, and responsibility that must provide to the community who are in vulnerable conditions. Care ethics affirm the motivation of care and to fulfill the needs of those who are dependent and vulnerable.
Care ethics is essential for everyone’s life on a daily basis. The ethics of care is also necessary for my life as it helps me to provide love and affection and guidance for my parents and siblings. It is my moral responsibility to ensure safety and care for them to make their life less vulnerable. My parents are dependent on me financially and emotionally. Thus, I try my level best to fulfill their desire. It is my responsibility to assure them care and love so that they can happily spend the rest of their life.
