The Role of Forensic Nurses in the Secret World of Gang Stalking and Electronic Harassment Anonymous As the author of this article, I am speaking from actual personal experience of these programs as one of their current victims. More accurately, I would like to call them crimes, but as of this writing, while all 50 states in the United States have stalking laws, the laws no longer cover the changes in stalking tactics. Therefore, police intervention is virtually nonexistent in Gang Stalking. The National Center for Victims of Crime has written an article proposing a Model Stalking Code for the United States, recommending a review of, and necessary revisions to, current stalking laws. (Victims of Crime.org) Even this model code may be deficient in covering Electronic Harassment. There is also a Federal Law against stalking which seems to cover Gang Stalking: Title 18 U.S.C. Section 241, Conspiracy Against Rights.(U.S. Dept. of Justice). Unfortunately, although there have been a number of Gang Stalking cases adjudicated, many have been dismissed. While Gang Stalking and Electronic Harassment (using electronic weapons) often are…
My contribution to mediating and bringing unity in pursuit of group objectives In life, we often come across encounters that force us to adjust our normal ways of life to accommodate the impact of the new experiences (Zimmerman, 2008). If the encounters and experiences resonate with us, they transform our view of the world and how we live with others. However, the outcome of the encounters doesn’t need to be all positive. Perhaps this is due to an inherited predisposition. My contribution to mediating and bringing unity in pursuit of group objectives In the year 2015, I was elected to lead a group of youngsters from my village. The group was on the verge of dissolution by then. This was caused by continued complaints from some of the members that there is no accountability in resource allocation and utilization. Also, there was a cry of how the current regime was ignorant of their views. With that in mind, I knew that was I was up for a bigger task of ensuring that the group members co-exist with each other in…
Dreamcast African Market My project is based on an Africa market called Dreamcast African Market located at 7125 Georgetown Road, Indianapolis IN 46268. It is known by many as Blessed market. It was established in 2017 and is owned by a Nigerian immigrant. The main focus of the market is to provide African food items to the people of Indianapolis and its environs. The market presently has 4 workers and they have a special farm where they grow perishable items like vegetables and leaves, which cannot be found here in Massachusetts. The market partnered with five local wholesale shops in Lagos, Nigeria because the goods are significantly cheaper — making it more cost effective to import the goods directly from Africa and cheaper for the customer to purchase. The goods purchased include African butter bread, yams, noodles, dried fish, powder peak milk, cassava, and red oil etc. The business model has a B2C structure, which stands for business to customer, meaning goods from Bless market will be marketed and sold directly to the customer. The goal of the business presently…
Essay Option #1 Name Institutional Affiliation Origin of World War 1 The outbreak of World War 1 was confirmed by the declaration of war on Germany by the British on August 4 1914. The killing of Franz Ferdinand who happened to be heir to the throne of Austro-Hungarian, together with Sophie, his wife on June 28, 1914, was a defining moment. This particular event was a peak of a considerable number of historical-based processes and forces which had been boiling in Europe for a long time. Political forces were the core factors behind the outbreak of the Great War, commonly known today as the First World War or World War 1. The murder of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914 was the direct cause of World War 1. A Serbian-rooted terrorist group known as the Black Hand sent its people to kill Archduke. In their first trial, they failed because the driver managed to escape a grenade that was thrown at the vehicle. Later that day, Gavrilo…

Necessity: parents, children, and society Method: a critical analysis of various sources of information from reference works to primary and secondary sources of information. Effects of playing video games on children Annotated bibliography Monitor on Psychology. American Psychological Association, n.d. Web. 28 Apr. 2020. In current society, video games have become popular. A massive number of people participate in virtual video games worldwide. According to an American psychologist, playing video games might boost the child’s health and even his or her social skills. That includes violent games. While many people might counter this statement, it is good to look at the situation in a balanced perspective. The comprehensive research conducted, reviewed, and published established in 2013 that…
Are New Technologies Redefining our Notion of Literature? Society has been completely changed by technology throughout history. Over the past years, inventions and innovations of advanced ICT components such as computers (desktop and laptop), iPads, smartphones, iPods and the internet have completely turned around. The interaction of people in society at large, and most importantly, the way educators work in schools and Higher learning institutions globally (Sutton and Brian 81). ICT implementation in research and learning institutions has been on the rising demand as it is currently very pivotal in the success of the learners and researchers. The 21st-century society demands a technologically advanced information data endowed with a series of information that is easily accessible. Dissemination and access to information across the world have been achieved in various ways. The information systems consisted of messengers riding on horses that went from town to town, passing information to different territories. Due to the invention and innovations such as the printing press machine by Johannes Gutenberg and postal systems in the 15th century, the ancient ways were dropped. More efficient…
comparison and contrast between German and Sweden Economies Remarkably, for economic prosperity in a country, it is essential to find good policies such as industrial relations. And these industrial relations will, therefore, create good working relations between employees and employers hence boosting their economy. Employees play an enhanced role and ensure industrial relations work. Notably, they are quite essential in job creation and bridging the gap between the rich and the poor. However, they vary differently between each country. Notable countries such as German and Sweden or Australia and New Zealand have exhibited these problems. They have shown a variety of similarities and differences which need to be taken significant consideration. Governments play a great role in determining the features of industrial relations. Industrial relations can propel a country to exceptional economic standards if it is well utilized. Therefore each government must ensure it develops excellent policies. Thus taking the different cases will enhance to find various features through the comparison and contrast of the given countries. And this will be easily implemented by subdividing each situation differently. German and…
Negligent Hiring Case Study Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation Date Negligent Hiring Case Study Introduction Employers are expected to conduct due diligence and background checks on employees to ensure that they hire people who have no prior criminal records with the aim of avoiding negligent hiring. Ensuring that a candidate is an active fit for a job is an essential part of making a successful placement. The inability to conduct necessary checks and ascertain that an employee does not create a liability for the firm is critical. Negligent hiring claims arise when individuals file formal complaints about an employee for an organization for criminal violations and harm inflicted while on duty or when using their assets (Foxhire Team, 2017). The implication is that once a complaint is filed against an employer, they must reply and address the issues because they had a duty to ensure that they hire the right people based on respondeat superior. In this assignment, the essay discusses the concept of negligent hiring and its…
Evaluation Supporting Element Stiffness of Fluid Viscous Damper Based on Logarithmic and Energy-Dissipated Spectra Abstract: This study evaluates the optimal values of supporting element stiffness ( ) attached with linear and nonlinear fluid viscous damper FVDs in elastic systems, represented with Maxwell model consisting of dashpot damper in series with a spring ( ) to achieve the efficiency working of FVDs and reduction in structural responses. The effect of supporting element stiffness remains unclear in prior studies especially; the optimal values of supporting element of nonlinear FVDs are required to achieve the optimal performance of structures. Therefore, the developed numerical algorithm by MATLAB is used for computing high-precision solutions for linear and nonlinear hysteresis FVDs that are typically represented mathematically with a Maxwell model in extensive response history analyses of (SDOF) systems with respect to ground excitations. The emphasis of selection procedures of ( ), based on logarithmic spectra technique represented by pseudo velocity and energy-dissipated spectra, are proposed in this study to obtain the optimal values of ( ). These procedures allow to select of ( ) based on…
Psychological Issues among Truck Drivers It is undisputed that significant mental health issues are affecting most of the truck drivers today in the U.S. Serious mental health issues among them are associated with causing depression, loneliness, anxiety, and chronic sleep balance, amongst other emotional problems. In most cases, professional and long-distance truck drivers are often exposed to demanding working and living conditions, and thus, they are weak (da Silva-Júnior et al., 2009). A significant number of them have reported physical and mental health problems, along with psychological distress. Such a phenomenon occurs to them more frequently compared to the general population, and thus, their problems can seriously affect safety on the road and rail network (Garbarino et al., 2018). However, several measures have been put in place to improve the health of truck drivers and imperatively reduce the risks of co-morbidity or unsafe driving (Shattell et al., 2012). The conditions and operations of the truck drivers have adversely affected the quality of their life as far as their psychological health is concerned. Causes of Mental Health Issues According to…
