the Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum On the 5th of March 2020, I visited the Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum from 10 am to 2 pm. The site is recognized as the oldest and most productive mine on quicksilver in the United States. It is located in Santa Clara County, California. Together with my fellow students and a couple of other visitors, we were taken through a systematic arrangement of exhibits about the history of mercury mining as well as the lifestyles of mining communities. The visit was beneficial because we were able to understand the ideas of underground mining through the shaft process. Another educative thing about the visit is the fact that we were able to know the role that technology has played in the extraction of liquid mercury from mined cinnabar ore. The artifacts presented in the museum is an evidence of the diversity of people who once worked in the site, including Mexicans, Cornish and Chinese families. The Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum has a historical significance of being a mercury mining site. Through it, people get to know…
Collaborating with Specialist Upon reviewing the presented MET case study for a first grade aged six years, there is a need to include other specialists as part of the MET team. The additional members to MET team evaluating Scott’s case will provide all-round services to help in addressing his identified needs for behavior modification (Pillay et al., 2016). case study supporting work at one of King Fahd University Hospital Abstract Healthcare institutions are among the most diverse public sectors that face difficulties in structuring and coordinating their IT resources. The systems in the hospital information system typically function separately and heterogeneously deliver clinical data. The lack of coordination and compliance with the corporate goal contributed to an improvement in the inability to enforce IT. The organizational design is regarded as a remedy to these issues, but no systematic advice to apply it to the hospital is accessible at the moment. Existing theoretical strategies will not tackle two main criteria of the design of hospital information systems: the capability to accommodate several divisions, and the full vision of the whole topology, from the Organization to infrastructure design. The paper aims at identifying the best way to construct business architecture for hospital data by specifying the requirements of the design, evaluating current systems to satisfy the needs, and customizing the infrastructure as the proposal. This case study supports work at one of King Fahd University Hospital, the most significant hospital…
the declaration of independence by the United States During the thirty years from 1740 to 1776, which formed the declaration of independence by the United States, tensions between them and England had reached the boiling point. The reasons for the existing tensions were because the colonies were suffering from the extreme taxation levied upon them by England. Further, the colonies had also grown frustrated by the tyrannical rules imposed upon them by the English monarchy, which they were felt was too much (Keown 277). The colonies had petitioned England and even used boycotts, but that did not quite bring the desired changes. The colonies felt that England had reneged from their previous agreements and therefore treated them as outsiders. The failure of petitions and boycotts to get England to listen to the colonies forced them to resort to violence and war to pass their message across. In starting the revolt and war against England, the colonies were justified as it was the only way they would gain their independence and self-rule. First, the implementation of two laws, Townshend and Stamp…

The movie is set on a train subway Question 1 The movie is set on a train subway. Generally, the movie scenes shift from inside the train to outside the train. However, most of the scenes are captured inside the train. The director of the movie used this setting for the storyline mainly because it is one of the most popular converging places for young adults or teens. Most high school and college students use subways regularly to commute to school or to other spots since most of them do not have cars or do not have a driving license due to their age. Using this setting is an element of mise-en-scene that portrays realism (Corrigan, 2010). The setting helps the viewers to believe that the images they see are of the everyday world that they know and quite familiar with (Corrigan, 2010). The setting chosen by the movie author demonstrates special significance to the characters and story, as told by the movie. Question 2 The movie ends with the scene where a young girl named Porsche and Boy called…
Transmedia is not a contemporary issue Transmedia is not a contemporary issue. It existed since the early 20th century. The Mickey Mouse franchise is an example of an old transmedia. Created by Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse became famous through a widespread fan and audience engagement. Mickey mouse films had gained popularity in the 1920s and 1930s, particularly among children in America. Disney, the company that owned Mickey Mouse, then set out on a merchandising effort aimed at creating Mickey Mouse merchandise so that the fans of the films could also engage with the products of the Mickey Mouse films. Disney sold the right to use Mickey Mouse on school tablets, the manufacture of Mickey Mouse dolls and other Mickey Mouse related merchandise. Parents of the day believed that by buying dolls, they were contributing towards the positive development of their children. The production of Mickey Mouse themed toys was a “daily advertisement in that household for [Disney’s] cartoons” (deCordova, 205).The production of the merchandise not only earned Disney profits in terms of royalties generated from the sales but also advertised…
