Allegorical Meanings in the Epic of Gilgamesh The epic of Gilgamesh is an ancient and famous poem that has inspired the writing of excellent epic literature all through history. The story is about the adventures and life of the Uruk king and hero known as Gilgamesh. His reign and deeds were such adventures that they inspired the rise of legendary and mythical literature. Notably, the tale is one of the oldest and beloved epic poems from Mesopotamia. It was written on 12 clay tablets and was first found in 1853 in the ruins of the vast library of Ashurbanipal. The sweetness of the story derives from the author’s authentic use of literal elements, including allegory and symbolism. unintentional release of Brady Johnson The party at fault with the unintentional release of Brady Johnson are the officers at the Viking Correctional Center. The design of the criminal justice system takes the shape of a funnel, and it is the responsibility of law enforcers to adhere to the process. The justice system identifies indictment as the formal accusation of a serious crime; under such conditions, the prisoner has no right for defense or to be present for the proceedings. Additionally, it is essential to note that probable cause is the basic requirement for indictment. The information then flows to the correctional department, where the inmate’s files are updated. The prosecutor’s office appropriately followed the process after the indictment. From the previous stage, it was the responsibility of the prison officers to ensure that the files of the inmates were thoroughly assessed. The correctional facility should address its prisoner release procedure and policies, in State and Federal penitentiaries, the release process begins days before the date. The period allows for prison administrators to assess the inmate’s files determining if any…
Motherly Love vs. Erotic Love In most cases, love is not considered the connection one has to the other person, but a substantial attitude that determines the affiliation of an individual to the entire globe. People may embrace different forms of love based on the object the love is subjected to, including the love of God, erotic love, self-love, brotherly love, and motherly love, as well. Every form is considered distinct and possesses different fundamental elements. This essay aims to compare and contrast between maternal love and erotic love, and their impact in my life. The modernization theory What is modernization theory? How does modernization theory explain the changes in sport in the nineteenth century? In the modern era, sports like baseball and horse racing became professional. The changes in sports in the modern era included the level of organization (the area the game was played, whether locally or internationally), the rules involved, records keeping, and the broadcasting programs. Traditionally, the sport was just a break from the agricultural and industrial life where people participated for enjoyment purposes only.
