McBurnie was a dancer and used her profession in helping to change the mentality of her country people towards a psychologically and healthily handling of independence. McBurnie’s early life was based on dancing since she used to bring children together for purposes of acting in concerts. Also, McBurnie’s career as a teacher played a crucial role in developing the dancing culture since she could meet several young people in schools and instill on them the dancing culture at an early age. Junk review Tommy Pico added a third collection to his book-length poems by coming up with the “Junk” in 2018. The title of the poem is, to some extent, metaphoric and symbolic. Junk literary refers to items, or rather things that have fallen out of favor in the sense of utility. Pico tries to answer the question of whether there are peace and pride in falling out of favor as junk does. Growing up in the Viejas Indian reserve of Kumeyaay, Pico has a clear idea of what it means to exist as junk. The length of Pico’s works, as well as the vitality associated with each work, presents a unique representation of what other poets have shunned from addressing. The speaker in Pico’s “Junk” is presented as an egocentric character who does not show concern on the idea of a movie theatre and portrays a movie theatre is a place for eating junk food and making out without a specific function. “Junk” is written in a casual but intimate tone that introduces the reader into expecting the more…
The Road to Surgical Care Efficiency in a Flawed and Ineffective Environment Surgical care involves patient monitoring before and after operations. A failing, dysfunctional surgical arena affects the quality of outcomes in surgical care. The perioperative department physicians handle preoperative, intraoperative, postoperative phases on surgical care. Clinical informatics allows nurses to deliver quality services while promoting the patient’s safety. State-of-the-art electronic devices support evidence-based nursing, which increases patient protection (Darvish, Bahramnezhad, Keyhanian, &Navidhamidi, 2014). The nurse who uses the necessary care gadgets relies on accurate details relating to a condition. They manage to provide precise and most suitable medication. A good example is when a nurse in theatre communicates with colleagues in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) concerning a patientthey should receive (Snyder et al., 2011). The enhanced communication allows the professional in the ICU to prepare for the recovering patient. Besides, the surgeon can monitor the progress.…
Actors in Live Theater Favorite Actor in Live Theatre Actors and actresses all over the media portray various characters in films, radios and theatre productions, not forgetting about the social media websites and platforms (Noice & Noice, 2018). Most people recognize more Hollywood stars since it is the intimate dream of every person pursuing an acting career. Though there are upcoming stars that are not featured and yet dominate the theatre industry. Live theatre actors are among the most creative actors who have contributed significantly to educating the community through their works. They not only entertain the audience but also expose what the community is facing and offer solutions. Their creativity has been widely used in real-life scenarios to solve problems (Noice & Noice, 2018). Since my childhood, William Shakespeare, an American actor well known for his plays and poetry, always has been my favorite theatre actor. He is a film figure often referred to as the English National Poet. No single person has created more adaptations in the history of entertainment than William Shakespeare (Merchant et al., 2017). He…

Reflective Journal: Post-Surgical Infections Post-surgical infections are a significant drawback to the success witnessed in healthcare systems around the world. Also referred to as a surgical site infection (SSI), this infection can be conceptualized as a wound that requires between 7 to 10 days of operation (de Oliveira & Gama, 2017; Korol et al., 2013). This wound is capable of resulting in fatal complication and is often caused by contamination during the execution of incision procedures. These infections comprise the second most common infections in healthcare (de Oliveira & Gama, 2017). Between 2-3% of all clean surgery procedures result in post-surgery infections. Between 40-60% of these post-surgery infections can be avoided. These infections affect morbidity, resulting in poor patient outcomes, increase the cost of healthcare, and the likelihood of death (Korol et al., 2013). Prevention of post-surgical infections, though complex, can be accomplished by implementing various measures at different stages of surgery, notably the preoperative stage, intraoperative stage, and postoperative stage. This reflective journal is aimed at highlighting the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the course with regard to…
