What are the three styles of meetings? Describe each type. The styles of management include theatre-style meetings where we expect a significant number of people in the conference but do not have many interactions. The second one is the classroom-style meeting, where the meeting focuses on the speaker, but the attendants are allowed to take notes. The last one is on boardroom style, which are meetings for small groups, and the attendants gather around tables. What is a crowd management plan? Why is this important? Crowd management includes facilitating, employing, and moving the crowd in an event. The primary importance of crowd management is that it reduces the conflicts that might arise in a crowd through monitoring the behaviors of the spectators. What are expositions? Performance Response Performance Response: Stageworks Theatre in Tampa – Morning Side Feb. 7th- 23rd, 2020 My friends and I had the opportunity to attend the long-awaited Morning Side at Stageworks Theatre in Tampa on the 23rd February. The sharply and fine-tuned event gave us a detailed and humorous glimpse into the lives of what it means to consider people as friends but mostly family. The play provided heartfelt lessons and the fact that family matters most in life, an aspect that proved to be the core of the play, “mother of all baby showers.” My moment in the theatre was highlighted by different observations I made about the actors, lighting, and stage. Observations and Descriptions The design of the women was intricate such as to catch the attention of the audience at a single glace. The women were represented with the combination of eloquence and wit in how they spoke and addressed others with a touch of strength and softness. The producer presented a combination of the qualities of a quintessential woman who has grace and dignity, an aspect that was well…

19th Century Slavery in West Virginia Institutional Affiliation Tutor Date 19th Century Slavery in West Virginia 19th Century Slavery in West Virginia In his second inaugural address, Abraham Lincoln opined that slavery was the cause of the civil war. This statement is now widely agreed that slavery played a central role in the war (Woods, 2012). James McPherson asserted this fact by stating that tariffs, rights, or the principle of secession cannot sufficiently account for the war (McPherson, 2000 p. 13). However, the phenomenon of slavery does not rest solely on its causative effects, as has been demonstrated by the recent apparent overwhelming debate by scholars of American history. To this effect, Edward Ayers asserts that “Slavery and freedom remain the keys to understanding the war, but they are the place to begin our questions, not to end them.” (Ayers, 2005 p. 128). On February 3, 1881, a bill that allowed all eligible voters in the West Virginia state to be jurors was a major mark of the heights to which the emancipation had achieved. Traditionally, West…

The Glass Menagerie The end of scene 7 in Tennessee William’s play, The Glass Menagerie, is the logical culmination of the heady trip that is the life of characters Amanda, her daughter Laura, Her son Tom and his friend Jim. The scene skillfully brings to a climax the personal conflict that Laura is going through due to her shy personality and her partial physical disability. Simultaneously, it brings out the high hopes that Laura’s mother Amanda has in transitioning her daughter into a better life. At the same time, it brings out Tom’s apathy towards life and his inability to bring out the best from opportunities. Lastly, it highlights the optimistic outlook and infectious spirit that Jim has and where it is leading him. Firstly, the entire scene is set in candlelit darkness. William’s intention in doing this was probably to evoke a sense of stark reality, where no grey areas or compromises exist. In Amanda’s case, she faces the stark reality of having done her best to lure Jim into an intimate setting with Laura. It is now Laura’s…

Sleep Report Being after the winter break, on weekdays together with the children, we have to go to bed early because we have to wake up early for school. Hence, from Monday to Friday, the family has to be in bed by ten because we have to be up at five in the morning. On average, during weekdays, I sleep for at least 6-8 hours. On weekends I have to wake up to prepare breakfast for my husband, but I usually go back to sleep; hence I have some few extra hours for sleeping. On weekends, we usually go to beds early unless on special occasions where we stay out late. On average, I sleep 8-10 hours since there is no school. Sometimes I sleep in on weekends. Sometimes I wake up during the night to use the restroom. The children all old enough to go to school by themselves and none wakes…
The Picture of Dorian Gray book review The author of the book ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray,’ Oscar Wilde, follows all the steps of the narrative structure in every chapter of his narrative hence masking th novel t be very credible. The novel is set during the nineteenth century in London, England . from the understanding of the story, the setting of the book is not based on fiction basis since the narration is of real-world place I,e London England. Besides, the author has attained credibility in his setting by use of the fact-based on the lives of Dorian i.e., by li9ving on the upper west side where he lived a wealthy, pleasure, and luxurious experience. The entire setting of this novel, therefore, holds greater importance based on narrative writing since, the place where Dorian is living, he can quickly move between the major parts of London i.e., both the frail and wealthy West End. While in the West End, especially at the district of super ritzy Mayfair, Dorian becomes capable of establishing his home through symphony hones, theatres, and…
