Job Satisfaction in the Organization Job satisfaction and employee performance, as an academic concept has attracted attention from the field of management and organizational behavior in recent decades. This scholarly article reviews a wide range of recent research concerning the antecedents as well as outcomes of job satisfaction and employee performance in the organizations. The study conducted in this article attempts to explore the impact of job satisfaction, organization commitment, and Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on employees’ performance (Sawitri, Suswati & Huda, 2016). The topic is appropriate to the focus of the study as it seeks to ascertain the relevance of individual job satisfaction in improving employee performance.
