Implementation; How to use Google translation Student Name Institution Date Implementation: How to use Google translation In my last semester before graduation, I transferred to interdisciplinary research. My two research topics are intensive English reading and Chinese translation. I hope to help my parents translate some English documents in the future. At the same time, I also learn business skills by myself. After the interdisciplinary study, I understand that these courses can be combined. I often use business cases to do sentence translation exercises, and then remember the keywords. In this way, I can not only master Chinese and English translation but also learn a lot of business knowledge. I often use Google translation as my learning method, and at the same time, I began to rely on this software. I don’t know if this habit is good or bad for me, and in my investigation, all international students have used this software, so Google translation requires further assessment. In contrast, Google…

The English Challenge The English Challenge – The English commercial penetration of Spain’s American monopoly, a persistent theme of European diplomacy for two and a half centuries, started with the African slave trade. Portugal, having access to the African slave trade, would not allow Spain to purchase slaves during the early colonial period. England, an ally of Portugal, was on the other hand permitted to buy and sell slaves. The Spanish government sought slaves from England through contracts referred to as asientos. John Hawkins, a famous English Sea dog, obtained one of the first asiento contracts from Spain. In 1562 his venture failed, as did most English slave contracts. It was not until the sugar trade entered the Caribbean in the eighteen century that the African slave trade proved highly profitable. England tried another approach by challenging the Spanish seaborne empire on the Pacific side of America. English businessmen learned of the Spanish Manila Galleon trade route from America to Asia. It was such a successful route that the Spanish Crown set limits on how much profit could be made.…
English, Literature and Philology In the first case, the word mountain is used to represent the lifestyle that the marginalized people cannot reach without experiencing lots of difficulties. Disabled people are considered to be in the category of the marginalized people, who are said to be lazy, unattractive, and lack strength. These negative traits have resulted in them being looked down upon by the people on the mountain since they have been unable to climb the mountain. When the marginalized people decide to climb the mountain, it becomes unimaginably tricky, and very uncomfortable since almost everything always fall out of place. The marginalized people either choose to settle where they are or go back down the mountain since up on the mountain is lonely. The returning down the mountain is influenced by the comfortability brought by a pleasant environment where people are loved and appreciated. There are numerous stories of people with disabled people doing the extraordinary things that people find it difficult for them to do. For instance, a down syndrome person learning how to drive, a blind person…
Implications of equal protection for English Language Learners English Language Learners (ELL) is a universally accepted term in the K-12 system; it refers to national-origin-minority students who are not currently proficient in English. The foreign population of America has been increasing over the years, consequently leading to diversity in the population of students. This group of students is complex: the students differ in their cultural backgrounds, proficiency in English, academic performance, immigration status, socioeconomic status, assimilation, and other aspects (National Council of Teachers of English, 2008). Depending on their proficiency in English, ELLs are divided into five standards, from the least to the most proficient level: Starting, Emerging, Developing, Expanding, and Bridging (Wright, 2010). These standards were developed by Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) in 2006. They meet the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act, and address the teaching of science, mathematics, social studies, and language arts to ELLs. The first step in the identification of ELLs is to conduct a Home Language Survey, HLS, for each student before they are enrolled…

It can help in remembering the different aspects of what is being learnt, as well as gaining greater understanding of where my strengths and weaknesses are.
