My Philosophy of Classroom Management Classroom management is an integral part of ensuring active learning for all students. Some of the models used by teachers for effective classroom management are Harry Wong’s Effective Classroom and Morrish’s Real Discipline. Harry Wong primarily focuses on the routine establishment in the classroom while Morrish focuses on organized tactics that have previously been used by excellent teachers in effective class management hence helping the students in becoming self-directing and well-mannered (Dustova & Cotton, 2015). One of the strengths of Harry Wong’s theory is dividing procedures into time frames, making it be quickly followed. The approach has a weakness of focusing more on the successfulness of the teachers than that of the student. Morrish’s theory describes methods and techniques intended to help the students. One of its weaknesses is stressing reactions more than limitations. Some of the systems in schools/campus behavior management are Character Education and Love and Logic. The character education focuses on techniques of teaching the children with a primary objective of helping them develop good morals, behaviors and become acceptable being in…

Copyright Law Case Study Copyright law is the exclusive way that identifies legally individuals who may copy, publish, and sell all forms of writings. It may also include music, pictures, and other forms of art. It is an area surrounded by a lot of myths and misconceptions. Even it is conflicting and contradicting in various ways. Copyright, on the other hand, is the legitimate way of copying a piece of art and must be allowed by the creator of the art. Therefore, this essay will discuss the various areas of copyright as well as the problematic regions of copyright enforcement. Fairness is one of the areas of copyright. It entails fair use and fair comment of specific information. Furthermore, it involves having an exception of critiques and ridicule as a way of expression about a particular schedule. However, caution should be taken in that the work should be mentioned and not used. Sometimes permission from the creator of the art is needed, and it becomes a challenge. There are several legitimate ways of fair use of copyright, such as:…

discussion of families/intergenerational language transmission   This could be a situation in the UK, the US, Canada, Australia or any other country.   The literature you cite should be in English – translations are not recommended.   You could focus on the private dimension: discussion of families/intergenerational language transmission. • OR you could focus on public policy or educational institutions (mainstream schools or complementary schools)[unique_solution]   In your report/reflection, you should be asking a question. For example:   How successful are families in maintaining the (specify) language? What factors influence the results?   Are the studies you have read robust and reliable? Can you critique them in any way?   What is the future of the Heritage Language in this diasporic community? You do not need to answer this question definitively, but you need to investigate this question.   Your essay should include: A review of the literature (previous studies) conducted on the relevant community in the relevant host society.   Reference list: At least 10 references (do not use any article before 2000)

The Difference Between Arabic and English Consonants Allaith, Zainab A., and R. Malatesha Joshi. “Spelling performance of English consonants among students whose first language is Arabic.” Reading and Writing 24.9 (2011): 1089-1110. The article reviews the Arabic phonological influence on the pronunciation of the English words. The article strives at unearthing the difference that exists between the Arabic Consonants and the English consonants. The author uses a comparison between grades six and grades four Arabic students with English students. the author uses the spelling test on the following phoneme (/d/ and /t) and phenomes that exist in the Arabic (/b/ and /p/, /f/ and /v/). The findings indicated that Arabic participants achieved similar results as those attained by the English participants on phenomes /d/ and /t/. However, the Arabic participants spelling of the following phenomes /b/, /f/, /v/, and /p/ was affected by their accent. And hence they pronounced the consonants differently compared to English participants. Hence Arabic the article indicates that consonants /b/, /f/, /v/, and /t/ are spelled differently by Arabic compared to English. Amer, Walid M. “An investigation into…

Neonatal Case Study Introduction The presenting clinical problem for the newborn (Jennifer) discussed in case study two is neonatal jaundice. This is a discoloration of the skin often occurring in newborns due to high bilirubin levels. This paper will discuss the pathophysiology of this presenting clinical problem as it relates to Jennifer, analyze the presenting data, and apply the principles of family-centered care. The pathophysiology of the presenting clinical problem Neonatal jaundice often takes place due to the simultaneous occurrence of two phenomena. The first is the elevation of bilirubin production arising from the increased breakdown of fetal erythrocytes. This outcome is often due to the shortened lifespan of fetal erythrocytes as well as a higher mass of erythrocyte in the neonate (Hansen, 2017). Secondly, the condition occurs due to low hepatic excretory capacity arising from the diminished concentration of the binding protein ligandin in the hepatocyte as well as because of low glucuronyl transferase, which is an enzyme often responsible for binding bilirubin to glucuronic acid. The low glucuronyl transferase makes bilirubin water-soluble, a state commonly known as conjugation.…

reasons to be compassion I agree that one of the reasons to be compassion is that it helps us achieve happiness. Dalai says that compassion is the ultimate source of success which shows how important compassion is to the life of an individual if they wanted to be successful. I concur with Dalai when he says it is vital for us to be compassionate to others since it is a way of expressing our love to them. He says that several children are raised in sad homes, which affects their lives later. If most of them are not shown love and affection, they end up hating their parents or even find it difficult to show others love which is an unhappy happening. A sick patient attended to by a warm-hearted doctor, on the other hand, is usually at ease due to the human feeling they receive from the physician. What adverse impacts are associated with failing to show love and compassionate to people? Dalai also emphasizes on the fact that experiences lead us to develop compassion for others. When we…

A lack of diversity in physician assistant education A physician is a physical practitioner who treats with medication rather than surgery. A physician assistant, on the other hand, is a health care practitioner who practices medicine in collaboration with physicians. Physician assistants may practice autonomously and independently of physicians depending on the legislation. They obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, diagnose illness, develop treatment strategies, among other roles. Diversity refers to the fact that there are many different types or kinds of things and people getting inclusion in something. It is a state of showing a great deal of variety. Diversity among people can be based on race, gender, religion, economic background, geographical background, and cultural practices as well. Lack of ethnic diversity among physicians and the importance of matching the ethnicities of providers with their patients, has become a popular topic. Physician Assistant programs are very critical in ensuring that there is an increase in diversity in the profession. When students get put in a diverse learning environment, they learn how to work in a different atmosphere in the…

Distance learning Distance learning is a formalized mode of learning that takes place remotely with the aid of electronic communication methods. Most people still prefer traditional education, as they may not be fully aware of the benefits and conveniences of online learning. In my opinion, online training is more convenient, especially for individuals who want to progress their profession and increase their chances in the job market; it provides active query forums. It is cheaper compared to the traditional learning method. Firstly, individuals may feel tired after work and not want to attend regular classes; this makes online learning convenient. Distance learning allows individuals to take their courses in the comfort of their offices and homes, as they do not have to be physically present in class. Secondly, online learning provides active query forums that allow the tutors to chat and ask questions at any particular time. Tutors are also in a position to do more research on the internet without the pressure of limited time. In contrast, the classroom setting has limited time to accommodate other subjects. Thirdly, online…

Preschool Classrooms Alkon, Abbey, et al. “Evaluation of Mental Health Consultation in Child Care Centers.” Early Childhood Education Journal, vol. 31, no. 2, 2003, pp. 91–99., doi:10.1023/b:ecej.0000005307.00142.3c. Consultation services on child mental health are a significant aspect, as illustrated by the authors of the journal by focusing research on children and the impact of the services. The services, improve the children’s emotional and social capabilities and facilitate working with those with challenging behaviors. Therefore, consultation services have a positive impact on transforming the lives of children with disturbing behaviors. Future interventions are necessary for widening the efficiency of the service to more urban children with behavioral difficulties. The program enhancement can be through programmatic means and equip with more child-centered facilities for effectiveness in a friendly child environment. Beyer, Thomas, et al. “Prognosis and Continuity of Child Mental Health Problems from Preschool to Primary School: Results of a Four-Year Longitudinal Study.” Child Psychiatry & Human Development, vol. 43, no. 4, Jan. 2012, pp. 533–543., doi:10.1007/s10578-012-0282-5. Behavioral difficulties are familiar scenery in kindergarten centers because children are trying to adapt to…

Mini-Research Proposal A Mini-Proposal on the Problem Faced During Counseling Process in maintaining the client’s rights Mini-Literature Review Article 1: (Colledge, 2002), humanistic counseling involves support networks, values, feelings, beliefs, and worthiness of the client. Colledge conducted research on the session of the counseling and found that some limitations are experienced in the process. Such challenges were found to be more faced by the counselor. According to the researcher, the problem that he faced as a counselor was to get full information from a female client. Colledge argued that there is some personal information that his client was not willing to tell despite it being crucial for the counseling process (Colledge, 2002). The client could not reveal the truth of what had happened to her but to say generally, that he had been harassed. This problem made Colledge curious and was forced to research the sound remedy to the problem. After the study, he came up with two findings that could help curb such a challenge. Colledge established that in any counseling center, there should be gender representation, and also…
