A “Welcome Letter” for the First Grade Classroom Welcome to Mrs Biden’s First Grade Class As we see off the holiday and usher in a new academic year, I welcome you to a sea of opportunities; a place you will enjoy new friends and try out exciting adventures. You have achieved a significant milestone for transiting to the first-grade class, and you will be required to report to room A-1 of the school on the scheduled date. According to the planned activities, your stay in room A-1 would have a lot of fun and yet so busy. You will learn and study various subjects and work with others to exercise your body and mind. Due to hot weather, any child who wishes to carry bottled water to the room would be allowed to do so. However, you should note that the school does not allow children to attend their sessions with either juice or other beverages. As parents, you are equally advised to check your child’s backpack each day for any communication from the school. Previously, parents have complained of…
UAV Security System For a long period, the corporate world has utilized the concept of drones in automating sales and marketing as well as other promotional services. No doubt, the commercial utilization of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS)stems from the realization of the multiple benefits that the move would have on the corporate world. It is believed that the use of drones in the commercial sector has grown in leaps and bounds over the past few years, and the trajectory is believed to continue in an upward trend. At present, the global market for UAS stands at approximately $2 billion, with the possibility of the figures skyrocketing to at least $127 billion by the end of 2020. Reports from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) indicated in 2017 that the commercial drones would continue increase in numbers from the 80,000 units that were registered in August 2017 to over 420,000 units by 2021 (Ludwig, 2018). Besides, the FAA has also expanded its certification programs to increase access to the devices by entrepreneurs. The unprecedented progress in the corporate world under the utilization…
Teaching and Learning History History is always regarded as a boring subject among students. However, when the teaching and learning process of history is enforced in the actual historical context, the topic of history as a boring subject will no longer be there. This is because history teaching and learning concentrates on the mere presentation of facts and entails the inquiry skills regarding history-thinking skills. In the present high-stakes, the accountability-oriented curriculum, the notion of teaching discipline-specific practices in social studies and history is one of the best ways to contribute to historical thinking in K-8 classrooms. History teaching and learning processes concentrate on historical thinking skills. Competence in historical thinking skills allows the students to think critically, to grasp the criteria of history, to observe historical events emphatically, to assess the sophisticated and abstract ideas, and to address ways in which the historians construct the previous events using proof to launch historical significance. Historical Thinking and Skills Required To Think Critically Teachers are the main stakeholders that change how history is practised in academic institutions. To assist the…
My Educational Journey After high school, I decided to pursue my undergraduate degree at Montgomery College in the fall of 2018. The college offers the perfect opportunity to explore Studio Art. My academics were commendable from the onset, and the college provided me with a chance to explore my passion. I find myself fortunate to attend such a prolific college. The college is filled with friendly individuals and professors who are willing to share knowledge. In some instances, once the chance presented itself, they shared opportunities with students’. I am grateful for their devotion and commitment, even when they have a personal life. When the chance presented itself, I worked alongside other students to create a club on our campus. We identified the niche, and by November 5th, we set up an art club. At the moment, I am planning to obtain my associate degree in Studio Arts from Montgomery College. I will also have to transfer to complete a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art. The community was supportive throughout my pursuit Ifor education. Therefore, I plan on giving…

OA 5 Part A The first technology I want to talk about is Buck ID. Buck ID is a student ID of OSU student. Buck ID isn’t just an ID card, it’s also a massive system, like our bank card system. Every student will have his Buck ID when he enters school. Buck ID can be used in dormitories, canteens, public transport, etc. Each Buck ID contains a chip that students can recharge in a Buck ID. The money in Buck ID can be used in every store in the school. Some stores around the school can also support Buck ID payment, such as bookstores, fast food restaurants, convenience stores, and so on. The Buck ID also serves as an id. For example, in exams, students can use Buck ID to prove their identity. To make student’s life more convenient, the school provided Buck ID for students. Students don’t need to carry all kinds of cards, such as id cards, bank cards, access cards, and so on when they have Buck ID. Buck ID contains all these features. Buck ID…
Language prejudice towards the Spanish and Latino Language is used for socializing; people have to speak a common language to pass the message to one another, and if their language differs, then communication is a barrier. People use language to transfer cultural knowledge, which is stored in their brains. Language changes with the change in attitude, personal identity, intergroup bias, social perception, stereotypes, as well as attributes. Two people cannot communicate without language, and people cannot respond to each other without the use of language. When people talk, they can do psychological research, and the language role is to stimulate a response. Communication may be used either positively or negatively depending on the contest, the language used as well as the user. People use different language, and then they are not likely to communicate. The use of a combination of Spanish and English phrases makes the whites to discriminate against the Spanish people due to the language. The difference in language use led to racialism, where the white has a racial shift towards the Spanish members. The nonwhites suffer because…
Laura and her family Laura is the sister to Laurie and Jose and the daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Sheridan. Her family is wealthy, living in a mansion in a leafy suburban region. The family can afford to throw parties occasionally for their children, and people of their caliber got invited. They take their time to prepare for the party and utilize the best materials to make their party glam and glitz. On the morning of their party, they had lilies brought by as well as mouth-watering food. Mrs. Sheridan left the children to organize most of the party details, except for some minor issues, such as the various flowers used. By all means, the family seems to be doing very well and are well capable of doing anything without feeling the financial grip, unlike some of their neighbors. However, having been brought up in wealth, Laura still cares for her less disadvantaged neighbors as she proved to her family. Laura has a deep sense of sympathy as she feels for most of the things that she interacts with daily.…
Deductive and inductive arguments for investigating the ER with critical thinking Post 1 Suppose your hospital suddenly sees an enormous increase in emergency room patients, and you are on a committee to investigate the problem and relieve pressure on the ER. How would you approach the problem? I feel that this scenario requires both deductive and inductive arguments for investigating the ER problem. First, the reason for this is an influx in patients. Therefore, there is a need to determine the cause of this. Second, there is a need to find an alternative to decrease ER pressure or increase the number of nurses. A deductive argument is in the first premises since the debate shows that the truth of the conclusion follows from the premises. More so, the premises included the conclusion. The major types of deduction reasoning are the negative and universal affirmative argument (Johnson, & Mowry, 2015). The argument here is a universal negative deductive since the claim expresses the whole category. There is an increase in emergency room patients which means that there is an adverse effect…
