Wound Infection Introduction             When a person develops a wound resulting from injuries such as cuts, it is vital that the person cleans the area very well with antiseptic and covers well. This action will prevent the entry of germs, such as bacteria, which may cause infections in the affected area. Possible cause of symptoms             The man’s leg was cut by a trimmer, after which he cleaned the area with water from a garden hose. Water from a garden horse is not necessarily clean as it serves the purpose of watering garden plants. As a result, the man might not have cleaned the cut effectively. For proper cleaning of wounds, one should use soap and water rather than water alone. Also, one can use an antiseptic to ensure that germs are killed (Haesler & Ousey, 2018). How to build your public critical infrastructure Yes. I can make the foundation. A public infrastructure requires massive security layers, and defence mechanism will guarantee secure communication and reliable protocols within the system. This borrows the internal certificates authorities that are held by the organization owning the platform. The security is done through the provision of a protection layer. Web services may contain various complex services that use a single application (Sullivan, 2015). The app is separated from offering multiple sections of the enterprise’s critical information on various computers. In a case where the services provided are service-service communications in a datacenter by use of internet connection, the network type to be used becomes the next question. This part is critical since a simple mistake in the configurations may result in leakage of data to other untrusted destinations through the internet (Sullivan, 2015). Alcohol Use Free write one The use of alcohol among college students has been an issue for quite some time. Using drugs of students is something that does not only affect their personal lives but also their social and academic life.   Electronic Resources in a College Library 1.1 Introduction In this globalization era, electronic resources in the college library are no more alien. A library is an information centre that serves as a hub of teaching for most students. Electronic resources are responsible for providing information and knowledge, and these resources have a crucial role in the survival of such information. It is with no doubt that electronic resources form a vital part of college libraries. It is almost impossible for students to access the wealth of information that is available online from researchers around the world (Joo & Choi, 2015). The current undergraduate students are a good representation of the new generation that can be called ‘digital natives.’ These people…

Free Speech on Campuses in Donald Trump’s America             As American citizens, First Amendment rights are expected to be heavily protected. But recently, the right to free speech has come into question, specifically, free speech on college and university campuses. There is a fine line that many colleges/universities walk when it comes to free speech. For example, the conservative viewpoint may be that conservative students are being stifled on campus because their political morals are not as inclusive as those of a liberal. Situations like these are taken case-by-case to determine what is protected and what is not. The Congressional Research Service (2019) states that hate speech, ‘fighting words,’ threats, etc. are listed as unprotected forms of speech, but what, or who, decides when it crosses that line is not clear. President Donald Trump (2019) made it a point to give an executive order that enforces free speech on campuses, claiming: “Under the guise of ‘speech codes’ and ‘safe spaces’ and trigger warnings,’ these universities have tried to restrict free thought, impose total conformity, and shut down the voices of…

The Effects of Early Skin-to-Skin Contact on Newborn Health  Skin to skin (STS) contact involves placing the newborn on the mother’s bare chest after birth. Despite recent evidence of the benefits of STS contact, it is a practice inconsistently used within the medical field. Current practice after delivery is to dry the infant under a warmer to provide routine care and to regulate body temperature (Safari, Saeed, Hasan, & Moghaddam-Banaem, 2018). However, this practice is not evidence based. To address this gap in knowledge, literature was reviewed to analyze the outcomes of early STS on neonatal mortality, thermoregulation, and breastfeeding initiation.
