Anti-bias education for young children Why was the mom disappointed about the teacher’s response and the school’s response to the teasing of her son? Mom was disappointed with the teacher’s response because teachers and schools were not able to exercise anti-bias education. His son was subjected to ethnic, gender, and ability aspects of the child of children’s identities without teachers following their anti-bias education. Why do you think that the mom believes that all of the children “lost out” due to the teacher’s and director’s inaction? Mom believed so because his son was subjected to discrimination without teachers taking necessary action. They indeed failed to offer their anti-bias education. If the teacher and school keep their anti-bias promise, how might they have responded to the teasing and the topic of hair? (These are two separate issues, so when you respond, please address separately.) Teachers would have ensured that all children from different backgrounds should have equal visibility and respect from both staff and other children. Teachers would have assisted them in learning how they have similarities and differences in…
Effects of Stress on Academic Performance of Students ABSTRACT Stress is a result of a combination of pressures internally and externally, overpowering a person’s ability to cope with situations. With most of the young adults, school life years are the best times of their life. But these times can also be overshadowed by stress, depression, and anxiety. Those who adopt poor stress management mechanisms have drastic consequences in their academic performances as well as their social-wellbeing. Our research involves an online survey of 70 students from different institutions. Our study shows that many students are unable to cope with stress, which translates into anxiety and, after that, lower grades in their academics. role in protecting their patient’s information In many healthcare institutions, nurses play a vital role in protecting their patient’s information. There are several ways that nurses can help to improve the security and privacy of the information of the patients. One of the things they do to help in preventing patient information is discussing patient care. Nurses can apply this through speaking quietly when they are discussing the patient’s information with colleagues or with patient’s families, especially the time they are communicating in public areas. They may also use privacy filters on device screens, which helps to protect the patient’s information from being heard by the people who pass by. Nurses also do ensure that they have safeguarded the documents of their patients. When dealing with hard copy documents, nurses should ensure they don’t leave them lying at their desks anyhow. They should instead store them in a secure drawer or in file cabinets. Also, storage rooms where documents are kept should be kept locked when they are not in use also;, the people who access the storage rooms should…

Learning for Fun Concepts of sound education policy in a community should not only contribute to excellent performance on a test, but it must capture a broad scope of teaching and learning process. The first learning is a continuous process throughout the life of an individual. Learning can occur consciously or unconsciously through various activities that a child or a person engages in. In a formal education center, set up reading beyond the curriculum has a significant contribution to the cognitive and technical capabilities of a learner. The curriculum is defined within a defined spectrum and covers limited content due to time and resources. However, contemporary life skills and knowledge are not core subjects or areas addressed by the formal curriculum. Studying for fun and beyond curriculum requirements is good behavior that should be encouraged because it enhances the development of life skills and knowledge. It offers students an opportunity to get an understanding of various issues of personal and social life as well as careers. Another reason why students should be allowed and encouraged to learn beyond the syllabus…

Should GARP cancel the FRM Exams because of the coronavirus? : Reasons For & Reasons Against The FRM 2020 exams are slotted for May, but with the Coronavirus scare, it’s a wait and see attitude for most candidates. GARP might have to cancel the FRM level 1 and level 2 pencil and paper tests, or maybe not. Here are arguments for both sides. Reasons for FRM Exam Cancellation May 2020 The FRM exams require candidates to be in shared physical spaces The CDC warns that everyone must stay as far as 6 feet away from infected individuals. It can be hard to tell who is infected with COVID 19 and who is not. Multiculturalism and ideas of diversity in Canada Introduction As a country, Canada comprises of different cultures indicative of the aspects of multiculturalism and diversity exemplified in its societal framework. Nonetheless, the representation of other cultures or groups is still inadequate, as depicted in Kim’s Convenience. The lack of adequate representation does not negate the fact that many immigrants from different cultures call Canada home. Nonetheless, media platforms have still not managed to represent such diversity. Very few videos and print media have touched on the experiences of immigrant groups based on the concepts of diversity and multiculturalism. Some of the media that speak to their experiences and form the basis of this paper are Kim’s Convenience, Pyaasa, and Letters from my Grandma. Such representation must be captured by such works, as will be seen later in this paper. As the population of immigrants and other ethnic groups in Canada increases, the limitations as to their representation in media platforms must be tackled.
