STATEMENT OF PURPOSE I choose to study Commerce in Higher Secondary School due to my keen interest towards Economics and Business. I strongly believe that Economics is the perfect combination of numbers and words, calculations and interpretations. Later in my school days, I realised that Commerce would be a perfect choice for me and will help me study further in a similar field where I would get a chance to learn more about market in much more detail. I strongly believe that analytical skills, evaluation, real-world application and day to day business news, broader thinking are very vital. Economics has made me aware of reality. The national issues creating headlines from inflations, recessions to GDP give meaning to how the World Economy is influenced by local factors has grabbed my attention the most. Business further emphasised the importance of Economics in operating a business, intriguing me towards our family business. My parents as well as grandparents are into the family business for a very long time, inspired from them and the way how the business environment works, I initially decided…
Exploring Identity The article is about an exploratory research that focuses on six qualitative researchers whose initial aim was to find out who they were as qualitative researchers and how they came to how they identified themselves as such. The methodology used was autoethnography, where the researchers filled out answers to two questions: who they were as a qualitative researcher and how they came to identify as qualitative researchers. Several discussions were done online, as the researchers reviewed each other’s responses to the questions. In the process of seeking to understand who they were, the researchers realized that this narrowed down to what they do as qualitative researchers. From their experiences, several common themes appeared, and these were compressed to six major themes: building epistemology, as an art or craft, qualitative research as a social bridge, why qualitative research need legitimating and stewards of people’s lives (Roger et al., 2018). The role of a researcher in qualitative research is that of a subjective observer. Thus the researcher has a relation to the researched. A qualitative researcher has to closely…
single-parenting When you hear the word single-parenting, the first thing that pops in your mind is how can anyone be able to provide a good life for their child without the second parent in the picture. The judgment will always be there for single parents out there. However, it seems more so for single moms. With that being sometimes said, the mothers do not have a choice in the matter; either they are divorced or widowed or could have had a guy get them pregnant and runoff as well as maybe having a baby without telling the father due to domestic violence scenarios. Who are we as outsiders to judge these women who do the best job and being a mom and father to their child or children? It may not be ideal for the mother to be alone, but they do know what is best for their kids. The world ridicules single moms to the point where they feel they are being attacked or looked at as a horrible person. Single moms can and have taken on both roles…

THEMATIC ESSAY: 2BR02B Introduction The “2BR02B” (To Be or Not To Be) is one of Kurt Vonnegut’s short fiction story which was written back in 1962. The story is quite impressive. According to me after reading the story, it is obvious to say that the message that the author wanted to across has been well delivered. The short story has a title that captures the attention of the reader as it is different from the usual titles given to the story. At the beginning of the article, we are given a summary of the current situation of the world. We see the state of the world is not promising as the various institution are not operational leaving everything to chaos. The insane people have no place where they can get the help they need. The world, as known, has changed so much. According to Kurt (1962), everything in the world is perfect, as men have swelled it well. The society is seen to be accurate as the diseases have been conquered, there are no slums, prisons, insane asylums are no…

The Dilemma of Middle-Class Family Mother Compared with the rich people in the United States, the poor are relatively weak, but they have a relatively sound social security system, as long as the poor have legal status, even if they do not work to maintain their daily livelihood. It is not the poor who have the most robust and most stressful lives in the United States, but the middle class, which makes up about 80 per cent of the population. At present, the impoverishment of the middle class has aroused widespread concern in American society. We know the middle class is engaged in mental labour, technical, and necessary manual labour. They’re mainly by wages to make a living; on the other hand, they usually have well-educated, and professional knowledge and ability; so, they can correspond to family consumption capacity by their salary. Thus, the growing middle class is the foundation of a nation’s economy. Some middle-class mothers quit their job to take care of the child; Therefore, middle-class mothers are facing the issue of low income and unemployment after…
