 History around Us Apart from “Remember the Alamo,” I suppose it is also worth it remembering both the First and the Second World Wars. The two had different impacts on America and particularly when it comes to liberations of the black people. We also need to remember the remarkable migration of the Black people during the onset of the First World War.  All the latter were taking place within America in the quest to attain democracy and social justice for Black people. Clarissa Arnold tells about her experience alongside her three friends and their two chaperones as they travelled across the Atlantic in 1900. They travelled the Europe Grand Tour, where they blend with the American as they tried to enjoy the various cultures that did not exist back at home. The author mentions travels by bus and by train as well, which tells that the women travelled during the industrialization era when machines and industries were being introduced. The people with mental health conditions experience stigma as people are discriminated against because of their condition.
