WOMEN HEALTH

WOMEN HEALTH Birth control is a safe family planning method when done correctly and therefore needs to be prioritized by the government. The birth control pills, for instance, have a high probability of effectiveness of about 99 percent (Alexander et al. 101). Although the birth control methods may have some adverse effects, they may not match the outcome of unwanted pregnancy. The adverse outcomes do not surpass the positive results, such as lowering the prevalence of breast cancer (Alexander et al. 102). Also, according to Norsigian (n.p), the majority of the birth control methods have been extensively researched, making them safe for use. The government of the United States should, therefore, make it a priority the access to birth control for women.. The access to birth control for women needs to be a government’s priority since it helps women in planning for their future and that of their families. Since young people are sexually active, the women may get pregnant while not married; something that hurts their plans in life. As Melinda gates state, her decision to take birth control…

In implication, the number of ageing people is diminishing compared to that of the young adolescent boys and girls worldwide (Bicknese, 2015). Several factors have been reported to be critical contributors to this issue. Among the mentioned factors are drug and substance abuse. Others, due to the low rate of employment in most of the countries like Florida, have engaged in the criminal practice to earn their living. How war and conflict revolutionized women The First World War and the Second World War was a cataclysmic event that significantly disrupted many lives in the entire world. This war brought the entire human race into active battle zones that spanned parts of Africa and across countries in Europe and Asia. With the rise in technological innovation, weapons being used in the war became even more sophisticated. The introduction of this new technology extended the borders involved in the war. The use of aerial warfare made it easier for the armies to launch attacks not only at each other but against innocent civilians that were a distance from the frontlines. Moreover, these weapons made it easier for countries to attack civilians as a way of weakening each other. Albeit with leas novelty, the armies invading countries begun to occupy parts of territories, taking them up under their control. This is why many men decided to enlist. It is at this point that women were called to take up the numerous jobs that the men left behind as a way to…

women in their 30s and early 40s are more sexually active than any other group It may come as a surprise to some people that women in their 30s and early 40s are more sexually active than any other group. That is according to an article released by David Buss, a psychologist from the University of Texas, and company. It is easy to assume the luscious and fertile women in their early 20s, and post-pubescent stages would be more sexually active. However, the reports from the 827 women in the study showed otherwise. Women in the 27-45 age category reported having more sex, and the intensity of their sexual fantasies was higher than in other classes. They also reported more willingness to casual sex and fantasized more about other people besides their partners. Buss and company believe evolutionary psychology plays a role in this. They think that this high libido in middle-ages stems from the high mortality rate among our ancestors. As more children died, the woman came under more pressure to continue her lineage. Fertility decreases with age for…

Role of Women in Development European Art during Renaissance and Realism Introduction Female artists in Europe face a lot of challenges during the renaissance (1400 to 1500 and realism (1800 – 1900). In Italy, for instance, renowned male artists were baptized “virtuoso” (meaning mortal god). Women were, on the other hand, overlooked, and they did not get enough opportunities to create artworks. But despite the many challenges, women were not demotivated. Many critics of women artists during the time argued that women were “passive sex,” and that the brush used by painters was “more manly.” This did not deter female artists who were more determined. They fought back and developed and developed innovative painting styles. They also nurtured other female artists by teaching them how to avoid men who would try to discourage them. The legacies that these women left behind continue to be recognized even a thousand years after they died. This essay will explain some of the contributions that women made to European artwork during renaissance and realism. Contributions of Women Sofonisba Anguissola (1532 – 1625, Parlemo) Anguissola…

Legal and Ethical Issues Related to CHF in Women Polyakov, Fomin & Vaysberg (2019) states that consideration of the cultural norms, ethical norms and legal issues involved in the management of a patient with Congestive heart failure is significant and essential. Healthcare workers have a role in decision making concerning the management of women with heart failure. Still, they must also take into consideration the preferences of the family and the patient. Management of heart failure in women or the general population must involve the exploration of the various treatment modalities, limitations of the treatments, decision-making capacity and objectives of treatment or management. The disease progresses inexorably to end-stage and most women suffering from this always don’t have a say on how the end of life care should be. Some of them still prefer the don not resuscitate status. Some of them also favoured the use of advanced directives. Most of the women feared that the physicians would not respect their wishes or options in the management of the condition. According to Santema et al. (2019), the concept of autonomy…

The reproductive rights of women Introduction Various countries around the world have different legal rights and liberties that relate to reproduction and reproductive health in general. The reproductive rights are built on the recognition that couples and individuals have the right to their own number, timing and spacing of their children. The reproductive rights also acknowledge that they have the right to information concerning their reproductive health and to be provided with the best standards of reproductive health services. It is the responsibility of every government to uphold the reproductive rights of individuals and ensure that they are not violated. The reproductive rights of women give them the freedom to have safe and legal abortions if they do not wish to keep the pregnancy due to personal or health issues. The women also have the right to decide for themselves if they want to take birth control measures and to select which ones they prefer to use. The women cannot be coerced into using birth control methods they do not agree with, and they are entitled to high-quality healthcare services.…
