Although dams can regulate capacities and reduce climatic condition variability, they are frequently limited by the availability of rainwater. Generally, water supply to and from rivers is primarily dependent on climatic conditions. However, with the increased human-made discharges and agricultural chemicals, water sources have become contaminated across the world. This article suggests that the desalination of seawater is the only source of water that does not depend on climate.
