Moral Dilemma and Conflict Situations Introduction to the Situation I have been living with my parents under one roof despite me feeling I need to vacate and look for somewhere else and live away from them. Our relationship has been going on well, and no complaint has ever emerged from any of us. My elder brother was working in another state while my sister was in a boarding school in town. I was the only child staying with mother and father, attending the nearby college, where I was nearly completing my education in mechanical engineering. At that time, I had no job or any activity to keep me busy whenever I was free, and my leisure time was entirely spent indoors, reading a book, watching movies, or completing assignments. My folks have had an excellent relationship over the years and never did I say there was a time I saw them fighting, or having a misunderstanding with each other. If they had any issues, I assume they were bright enough to hide it from us for their own reasons and…
CHANGE INITIATIVE Change is an inevitable part of any venture in life and in every venture there is a distinct cause of change. For instance, in my case scenario of community team, change has been fueled by the lack of enough employees as a result of non-replacement of two of the staff members who have left the team. The available staff members will have to work extra hard in order to keep up with the previous situation when the team was full. This has necessitated changes in the working pattern of the available team members in order to coup with the situation (Anderson 2014, p.124). As it is the case with any other organization, this process is not expected to be easy. In fact, I am expecting a large number of staff members to put up resistance towards this process, a step which may have negative effects on the team at large if not dealt with absolute caution. Some of these negative effects include and not limited to lessened efficiency, lower working morale and disruptive working environment (Trader 2012,…

Uber drivers are the ones who work for uber companies, driving clients from one place to another. The claim has to be critically analyzed, including the advantages and disadvantages involved in each side of the coin. Three General Theories of Ethics and Proposal for most Reasonable for determining right and wrong The three most compelling approaches to ethical analysis are deontology, consequentialism, and virtue ethics. Consequentialist ethics proposes that the moral content of an action stem from the real and expected outcomes from an action. Virtue ethics is generally concerned with the intention behind the action while deontological ethical theories perceive the action itself as the object of moral evaluation. The three theories provide reasonable frameworks for decoding ethical dilemmas and providing insight into ethical analysis and evaluation of practices and behavior. The analysis concludes with an integration of deontological, consequentialist, and virtue ethics to discuss the integrity approach. According to the theory, the moral content of a person’s actions is determined by the real and expected consequences arising from choosing the action. The scale for determining what is right or wrong is based on what is desirable and what is not in the society’s view. The consequences of the action are judged against a certain standard of the purpose or end. It suggests…
