A Comparison of America, French and Latin Revolution Introduction In the aftermath of brutal authoritarianism. The onset of democratization has led to controversies over the dynamics of political transformations and regime consolidation (Wiarda, Howard and Harvey 1). And this marked the beginning of the revolution. The American Revolution started in 1775 and ended in 1783 (Torpey 1). On the other hand, the Latin American war of independence begun in 1808 and ended in 1826.
