This paper focuses on three of these cases revolving around sexual harassment, race, and disability discrimination in recent months. On the 18th of December 2019, Uber faced a sexual retaliation and harassment lawsuit. The EEOC Commissioner had filed the charges against the taxi-hailing giant in 2017. This lawsuit followed the emergence of evidence against uber on the claim that the firm permitted sexual retaliation and discrimination against female workers who complained about sexual harassment.
