Most colleges and universities admit students that have different social backgrounds, different sexual orientations, different races, genders, and even religions. All this diversity is a learning ground where one can learn of different cultures and how they run their affairs. As such this contributes to the relational, intellectual and emotional growth of the students as they learn how to interact with different people.
