The NASW ethical principle The NASW ethical principle applied in this case is dignity and the worth of the person. Child abuse has been a social challenge over the years, and a social worker should make use of this principle to care for individuals in a respective manner regardless of cultural and ethnic diversity as well as individual differences (Kornin, 2017). The first thing to do as a social worker is to read more about other people’s cultures and its element. While different cultures tolerate incest and close relationship with distant relatives, others do not. In the case of child abuse, some cultures may allow their kids to perform the tedious physical task, which in the typical case would be termed as child abuse, while others do not. Whereas the culture may allow the child to cry, and he/she stops himself while others do not. Therefore, before defining an incident as an abuse, the social workers should assess the culture of the particular group and ascertain if the group identify the issue as child abuse and work from that…

Group Stages Question One The process for forming a group is composed of seven stages. Miller (2018) highlights the steps as follows; developing a group’s rationale, deciding on a theoretical format, publicizing the group, selecting group members, weighting practical considerations, pre-training/screening, and selecting a group leader. The existing research reveals that the stage for choosing a leader is the most crucial in forming a group. Overly, the process requires members to sieve through qualifications of various potential members, especially on the professional and personal qualities (Caple, 2017). Voluntarily, the group leader can provide more background information, including education and experience during group counseling (Caple, 2017).  While choosing a leader, the members should put more emphasis on those who portray support, genuine interest as well as warmth to the entire group members. Notably, the members should have a clear view that positive leadership styles contribute significantly to taking the group to the next level. Also, the leader to be must be a relationship-oriented as opposed to task-centered for them to generate compatible ideas (Miller, 2018). As a result, it is always…

Tom Weylin

Tom Weylin Tom Weylin took an instant disliking to Dana because she talks like she was too educated, and she came from a free state. According to Nigel, the master did not want niggers talking better than he did or giving other slaves the idea that they could be free. Slaves were supposed to be uneducated. Slaves were supposed to be inferior to their masters, and Dana seems to be educated, unlike the others. For Tom, this was a red flag since he had other slaves, and Dana may influence them. Margaret Weylin strongly disliked Dana and resorted to verbal and physical violence because Dana had spent the night in Mr. Franklin’s room. Margaret considered her house a Christian household, and Dana being a woman spending the night in a man’s room, sent the wrong impression. Margaret did not know much about Dana, and this is not something she liked. Rufus Weylin is a needy child who is always getting himself in tough situations requiring him to be rescued. He tries to exert his dominance on Dana as he is…

Bronchodilators Bronchodilators are treatments offered to people experiencing breathing difficulties. Bronchodilators are used to ease breathing by making the lungs muscles relax, and creating a broad way for the air (bronchi). Bronchodilators are used to treat conditions of Asthma, which is inflammation of the bronchi commonly in the lungs (Gadomski & Scribani, 2014). Bronchodilators are also used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary defect, which is a side effect of heavy smoking hence causing difficulties in breathing. Bronchodilators are either short-acting or long-acting. Short-acting is a sudden relief from breathing difficulties but usually for a short term. Long-acting helps to increase regular breathing in Asthma. Three main used bronchodilators are beta two agonists such as (salmeterol, vilanterol, and salbutamol), anticholinergics such as (tiotropium, ipratropium, and aclidinium), and Theophylline. According to the testimony given to the KTLA News by some students who were present during the incident, the teacher, identified as Marston Riley, had asked the student to leave the classroom since he was not wearing a proper uniform.
