Principles of Ending a Project        People seek consultants’ services to help them accomplish their projects and yield profits. Therefore, consultants should facilitate proper and quality finish of the assigned project, which, in return, build an excellent client-consultant relationship. Therefore, every project consultant should realize that the ending of a project is equally important as starting. The chapter was educative and sharpened my skills further on how to end projects. First, the articles reviewed the importance to agree with the client about the activities expected at the final stage of the project, such as writing final reports. Besides, consultants should use such reports to showcase their capability/capacity. Further, initial agreements provide guidelines on how to deal with project uncertainty as well as responsibilities. Secondly, it is essential to hold a debriefing with the client as this opens opportunities for both client and consultant to review the project performance, comments, and complements. Additionally, it opens a window for a consultant to show his good-will for the progress of the client, which boosts the relationship and opportunity for future businesses. Subsequently, as…

Broward County development checklist Broward County has a development checklist to ensure that it has a built environment that enhances residents to meet with each other and interact. In well-functioning neighborhoods like Broward, there is a designed place for pedestrian and bike-friendly sidewalks that enhances social ties or acquaintanceships. Obviously, some of these social ties will be more intense, leading to friendships. Broward has adequate shade trees that provide cooling effect and extensive lighting that form social ties glue and bind the relationship of residents. These social ties represent a resource for the residents living in Broward. Residents living in the County tend to have a sense of trust and watch out for each other and their property (Wood et.al, 2008). They will always be engaged civically in making sure their kids are not getting into trouble, assist in shoveling snow off of sidewalks, monitor people hanging out in the County, and generally provide a sense of safety within the neighborhood. Collective efficacy, therefore, refers to the degree to which neighbors provide this sense of safety, and to intervene if…

Citizen: An American Lyric Rankine uses economical language to express large ideas about how racism is rife in the US. When she was pulled over by the police, she says that she knew that this would happen (p.105). The phrase, ‘and you are not the guy, and still, you fit the description,’ embodies a profound message in it. Since the blacks are said to resemble each other, they all turn to be suspects whenever a crime occurs. There was even harassment from the police after they instructed her to stand naked after the fingerprinting session (p. 109). This indicates how racism leads to suspicion and prejudice against blacks. when Wozniacki imitated Serena, it showed how people expressed bias on Serena because of her ‘angry nigger exterior.’ Most of the fans only concentrated on her negative aspects instead of celebrating her excellent performances in tennis. Rankine also perfects the art of using metaphors in her writings. On page 89, the author talks about the prison of her brothers to mean that various issues have caged them. The hearts of her brothers…

The American Model of Religious Lectures The American model of religious lectures comprises of numerous factors. These factors converge into the formation of the current spiritual paradigm in America. Over the past centuries, America has undergone multiple shifts in religious beliefs, misconceptions, and conflicts. However, the nation has succeeded in having a peaceful coexistence among different religious denominations, and those who do not conform to any religion. The country prides itself in religious diversity, where citizens are devout, divided, and tolerant of different spiritual afflictions. This essay examines America’s religious journey, from the beginning of the 1800s to its current era. It takes a closer look at religious Pluralism and polarization, Protestantism, Catholicism, the American Conscience, and the interaction between political religion and religious politics. According to January 13th Class notes (2), the American model is the supportive separation of the religious and secular world. It is the creation of equality and the balancing of power between the sacred and the secular. Notably, the American model is pioneered by religious Pluralism that occurred in the years 1776 to 1865. Religious…

Response to Student Posts Student Shawn I agree with the student’s claim that a reference group affects the perception of self. The student identifies relevant comparison factors that are race and social status. Shawn explains with great articulation of instances where he did not feel “white” or “black” enough while in college. However, the student does not identify these instances and what exactly made him think he was segregated. For example, the student could have mentioned discriminatory acts in the college, such as racial slurs or even bullying acts. Mainly, this would have created a better picture of how reference groups affect self-perception, mainly due to race. Shawn identifies the factors that helped him find a reference group that he could associate with that is similar life experiences and the need to fit in. Notably, stating examples of these experiences would have better enhanced the understanding of the reader. Shawn exhibits weakness in grammar and proper sentence structure. It is, therefore, essential that you check on grammar before submitting your work. Student Terry Terry identifies reference groups that positively impacted…

my point of view regarding the connection between politics and happiness in Aristotle’s works Aristotle’s works on ethics and politics have been a matter of debate for the last millennium. These works have been the springboard for the consideration of some of the most pertinent ethical and moral problems and dilemmas. While some of the arguments in these works have drawn skepticism, the questions presented remain as relevant in modern times as the Hellenistic period (de Lara, Emma, and René 63). The relationship between happiness and politics, according to the Aristotelian school of thought, is neither clear nor obvious (Malcolm 3). As a result of the existing inconsistencies, different interpretations of the Aristotelian relationship connection between happiness and politics have emerged. With the help of both primary and secondary sources, this paper seeks to reconcile the differences in viewpoints to provide an accurate interpretation. Some of the accomplished and widely accepted Aristotelian interpretations, such as the works of Malcolm Schofield, will be instrumental in this discussion. The paper begins with elaborating some of the fundamental elements of Aristotle’s arguments, which…

Aristophanes attitude towards democracy, as seen in Lysistrata and archanians Aristophanes was critical about the implementation of democracy in Athens.  He shows how the dialogue about peace is hindered by showing how amphitheus is expelled just by exposing the weaknesses of the leadership. This incident takes place on page 9 of the play, the archanians. The act shows how democracy was hindered since people cannot speak negatively about the government peacefully. Amphitheus is expelled for saying that he is immortal and a hungry person and yet the prytanes cannot feed him. He denounces the notion that Athens could get out of poverty just by the empire’s wealth. This essay will Aristophanes attitude towards democracy, as seen in Lysistrata and archanians. Aristophanes shows that the system of governance does not allow for successful leadership to be operating officially. The reason is that the government was headed in the form of force and cooperation that is obscure.  Cleon is seen as the leader of the people in the play. He is referred to as a new pet and a slave of demos.…

Love and romantic relationships QUESTION 2 Love and romantic relationships are often complicated because of several reasons. They may not go as planned due to various variables such as age, timing, attitudes, and communication issues. The stories presented throughout the chapter manage to give a wide array of experiences and examples of what such relationships look like. Teenage love is portrayed as one of the more challenging kids because they are too afraid of the reaction of those they have feelings for. In the short narration, ‘Yellow,’ we see the tension among the twelve-year-old kids as they struggle to express their emotions while at the school dance. Romantic relationships may be considered shameful at times, especially in different cultures at specific ages. In China, Huamai Han tells of a story that ends in a complete cutting off ties because there are cultural interferences. Wen has an arranged marriage to someone close to their family, and this is the order of things there. There is also an aspect of different ways of identifying or letting someone know that you love them.…
