changing the database architecture and design
It is the desire of every organization to change the database architecture and design so that it may experience a better performance (Chen, Ng & Greenfield, 2012). Database architecture focuses on the design and development of programs that store and organize data of a certain organization. Amazon is one of the most developed technology company. The company focuses on e-commerce, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. Amazon systems are performing well, and this is the main reason for its success.
The fact that the systems are performing very well doesn’t mean that no developments can be made on them (Glatter, 2012). If I had to build my version of Amazon.com, I would have to make some improvements to make sure that there are better performance and user experience optimization. First of all, I will make data quality a priority. There are some errors that are meant during data collection and processing. Amazon collects data from different sources. While collecting data, there are some errors that are meant, and this reduces the performance of the database.
I will ensure that the data is regularly measured and resources reviewed to eliminate any errors within the data. I will also ensure that the system checks and balances all data. This will help in identifying website traffic and customer behavior data. By understanding the website traffic, I will be able to improve the user experience optimization. I will make the pages easy to navigate. I will minimize the loading time to ensure that the users will not be bored by delays. It is worth noting that web design is one of the critical activities, and organizations should be keen when designing websites.
