 On average about two thirds of the American population of high school student go to college. Many will say that college tuition is where money is well spent. Some may say that it has many advantages; one will say that they gather a lot of experience. It is said that when one goes to college they have greater chances of getting employed, earn bigger salaries and also have more and bigger benefits as compared to those that don’t have this opportunity. Is College tuition prohibitive to young adults being successful and able to support themselves? It is a question that many may ask when looking at the statistics of current jobs holders and the kind of lifestyle they have.

According to an outcome of a research that was carried out by Goldman, the job market of college graduates has improved but the wages are still low and at a cutting edge (Metz, 2015) Looking  back at around 2011 and 2010 when the young adults where making a major steps towards their life in picking colleges to go to amid the financial crisis that was ongoing; soaring of tuition fees and recessions. it gave one high hopes of the future. As years go by this has been seen as a major setback to them as a few of them can say it was worthy, but a larger number are still complaining of the high input that they had placed in their education only to have a major setback.

From debates that are currently on going around from major stakeholders, it has been noted that “…the trend has shifted from an economy that was anchored in high school to an economy anchored in post secondary education which has accelerated in the last three recessions (Douglas, 2016).

The changing landscapes in the field of labor has left one wondering of the importance of college tuition as many of the labor force are employing people from other fields. College tuition has become in effective in regards to our today’s society. According to a research paper many of the students attending this tuitions find themselves fixed to books experience and only learn most of the things in class forgetting that also for one to be able to sustain themselves they also need the practical experience (Value of College Education, 2016).  Many may graduate from colleges but not being able to sustain themselves outside in the real market world. Most of them lack jobs since some colleges have fallen victim of the backward belief that academics has a direct connection to employment. Most students find themselves in great debts when in pursuit of the college tuition. Almost half of the population are stranded and live in debts as they struggle to support themselves (Selingo, 2013).

As for today many of these colleges’ students find themselves running into financial debts even before completing their studies. Jobs out there are many and most of them do not require one to be a graduate in order for one to be employed. in reference to labor bureau  most of the jobs which are growing fast and at an alarming speed requires one to only have a high school diploma.

to young students  who concentrate more so on the college tuition making it dependant of their life (Value of College Education, 2016).

In other fields, the tuition fee is even bigger as compared to the income that one can generate thus making one prone to struggle as they pay off their fees. From the statistics collected an average degree program for years cost more than 130% of the original cost thus goes beyond the inflation rate percentage (Bennett, 2013). The time that one takes in tuition can be a productive one in reference to generation of income (Value of College Education, 2016)

In summary college tuition can be looked upon as a strenuous process to the young adults. They struggle a lot with financial crisis, to make it worse the inflation rate has risen thus making the living standard of this students a task to uphold. Their success depends on the careers that they will take up on completion of their studies. Some have to take up on casual jobs in order to sustain themselves with the income from their main jobs. College tuition maybe seen as a setback in achieving success in life since it doesn’t cover the desired market field requirements of today’s world.
